With fountain hooking, you can be losing the game and hit maybe 2-3 key ones and turn the entire game around. I can almost guarantee from a player's perspective you'd call bullshit if you lost to it just in a pub game, let alone in a 2 million dollar tournament.

Pudge is dead weight if he doesn't have a phenomenal start, so by all accounts they could've just kept the pressure up and not started hiding for a half hour while Xboct had total freefarm.

Na'vi is a professional team on the line to win hundreds of thousands of dollars, of course they'll do whatever is necessary. There's other game mechanics that are unintended too. Ursa's Fury Swipes on Rosh, Blink dagger ban on VS, Pudge, Weaver time lapse buyback, Fissure creep block, Tiny's toss double avalanche dmg (not sure if Dota 2 still has it), Kunkka tidebringer crit, Clockwerk's battery assault preventing spell casts, Night Stalker ult extending night, CK wisp tether instant stun, etc etc. They're just remnants from Warcraft 3's game engine. If you actually think Na'vi "stole" the win, you're crazy. You think "Pudge Chen" will actually work well again? Fuck no. Tongfu just got mind fucked and played too defensively after the first few, and let Alchemist farm up way too much. Any time Dendi missed a hook they could have simply pushed in 5v4, but no, they just sit back and farm. this is so true .. the alchemist was the cream in the crop of na'vi and TF failed to punish him .. TF also doesnt have carries that will match alche in late game

Every argument that 'this is hard' are ridiculous. It's not hard for the best players in the world since they do this every day all the time. The Action Jesus 6pool? Proxy rax/port/gate? Cannon rush? DT rush? Reaper rush? 6/9 roach rush? Shall I continue? There's a plethora of cheesy shit in SC2.. and like this game, some people like it, and others cry that it's unfair. Your argument that "this is hard" is refuted by itself, and by the game. They missed twice as many fountain hooks as they hit, and for some explicable reason, TF refused to push the issue while they not only had a numbers advantage (5v4), but a teamfight/skills/level advantage as well. Fountain hooking is a high-risk/high-reward strategy, and the way that the game was going, it was probably about the only way Na'Vi were going to pull back into the game. (And why are teams not banning Chen vs Na'Vi?? Seriously.)
