For one it's definitely Valve's or Icefrog's problem. Na'vi is a professional team on the line to win hundreds of thousands of dollars, of course they'll do whatever is necessary. There's other game mechanics that are unintended too. Ursa's Fury Swipes on Rosh, Blink dagger ban on VS, Pudge, Weaver time lapse buyback, Fissure creep block, Tiny's toss double avalanche dmg (not sure if Dota 2 still has it), Kunkka tidebringer crit, Clockwerk's battery assault preventing spell casts, Night Stalker ult extending night, CK wisp tether instant stun, etc etc. They're just remnants from Warcraft 3's game engine. If you actually think Na'vi "stole" the win, you're crazy. You think "Pudge Chen" will actually work well again? Fuck no. Tongfu just got mind fucked and played too defensively after the first few, and let Alchemist farm up way too much. Any time Dendi missed a hook they could have simply pushed in 5v4, but no, they just sit back and farm. | ||
