DK played with great respect for Na'Vi. They didn't give them any openings for chaotic shit which Na'Vi loves, but instead just game XBOCT just enough rope to hang himself.

On a personal note I can still remember all the times I've tried to bumrush Dusa up a hill despite being ahead and failed miserably because unless you have something like Naga song to counter Stone Gaze it's suicidal.

Well, we don't know where Mike got the MLG stream numbers. He might've asked Adam or someone else, sure.

Honestly i think Medusa is a stupid pick. I know she can own a teamfight, once every three minute, if the enemy team is stupid enough to not run when the ulti is on AND she is farmed as seven hells. But if you screw with her farm or kite/bait before teamfights she is way inferior to a Gyro.

I feel like Windrunner mid doesn't really do that much either. Not that dendi was the problem that game, but with a higher impact hero I think he could have done more given how well his lane started

The dusa pick makes no sense to begin with.

I mean what's the plan? They relocate in and you prep stone gaze or some shit? Like those sort of small things work when we're talking about like Alchemist. Alchemist is great against relocate. But Medusa needs space which wisp doesn't allow for.

Nice game until navi activated turtle mode. Can't blame any team for the boring show after, it was the optimal play for both sides.

This. No idea why people are talking shit about either team.

People need to think rather than whining when mushi/ice3 are willing to cooperate in a turtle mission.

All in all, to me this looks like navi fans strike again.

Enough with the Chinese style crap zzzzZZ. It's not Chinese style. It's what any team with a brain does if they're behind and have a very late game carry to give them chance at comeback. No team does that when they have the choice to be aggressive and hold map control. Just coz some CIS or Russian teams like to faceplant into walls for the fast L doesn't make Western dota more exciting/aggressive.

Hey, I don't disagree with you. They played it perfectly, my post was in response to the people who said it was a boring game.

Also Russian Dota western??

My apologies, I probably shouldn't have quoted your post to respond to. It was more to the whole general trend of the conversation. And most people lump CIS/Russian Dota in with West. Basically anything non-Chinese, non-SEA.

Russia DOTA is it's own thing. It doesn't even make sense geographically imo. To me, Western is American and European. Russia is its own scene, China it's own scene, SEA it's own scene.

Na'Vi has shown that they know how to play dusa. They haven't lost with her up till this point. I think the main problem with their strategy was that they didn't win their lanes hard enough. DK drafted super greedily(the doom pick lol/only 1 real support who also really needs levels) but Na'Vi couldn't punish them after failing to hold down Mushi hard enough.

Also didn't help that icex3 just completely dominated his lane and created a shit ton of space midgame so that they couldn't really gank burning. (They should have kept the pressure up like they did during the first gank, but once wisp got relocate, Na'Vi played really defensive yet still let xboct farm on his own, which led to more deaths.)

Dying twice to solo Clock and not going shield stats certainly didn't help.

I agree. But it's what most noobie fanboys think. That's why so many people in TI2 were screaming about passive Chinese style and aggro-Western style with Na'Vi as their champions.
