Wasnt really his fault tbh... The moment it was 2v1 why the heck didnt anyone support him?
He is a melee hero with no escape and the team just lets him solo mid against 2 ranged mids??? WTF TEAM DECISIONS really?
I don't see mechanical skill as the problem, people just don't know where the stand at the right times. They don't need mini, they need someone they respect to captain them like synd if synd wasn't with dota cinema. Mini said while he was on qpad there wasn't a real leader so he and waga both kinda just half assed being leader, adding him to liquid won't solve anything just like him playing for MYM didn't make MYM too much better.
If liquid can somehow get synd, or someone like synd, to at least coach them for even a week or two they should do much better than this. (this being a massive under-performance relative to individual skill level)
mini was captaining qbad for a while (before he hopped out from that team, like he did hop out from like 5 others), during their worst period before disbando time, he couldn't even earn sing's respect, sing was basically laughing when he got asked on stream how's mini's captaining
time to find the next ppd, kinda feel like getting him was just as important for the new eg as getting rtz

Ok, but Bulba didn't have to die. He could have given up trying to get cs, but he tried to get greedy and died three times in a row in mid. Feels like he never has played against a dual lane before.

pls no synderen
as long as he's not playing mid, drafting things that don't demand impossible performances to win, and telling people where to stand so wayto isn't getting gangbanged by 5 heroes and lanes that are struggling actually means support is coming/other lanes are winning super hard that'd already be a huge plus from current liquid
The biggest problem with finding a good captain is that all the good leaders are currently on a team since they are a good captain that can keep the entire team together. Liquid's best chance is to get lucky and develop a strong captain from someone who isn't quite there yet.
But I agree with you ... just getting Mini will not be enuff.. We need a proper captain!
you can find a highlight like that from every player basically. good players, like ars-art, loda, demon etc have 10+ mins long highlight videos, and those are plays against TI teams, not iccup players who walk in to die. link one like that from mini
mini is a tier 2-3 level support who frequently leaves teams thanks to his behaviour. there is a reason while his 'best' team was qbad, you can love him all you want, but he is not even close talent-wise to guys like akke/kky/aui/zai/demon/vanskor/any other t1 level player.
I feel like this game 3 was mostly a result of them drafting heroes that they never play in competitive matches. Bulba plays Ember in pubs but dies 3 times from the same spell combo. Qojqva plays Timber in pubs but didn't even put any pressure on anyone nor did he try to help out the midlane, because he's busy farming his bloodstone which is an item that doesn't do anything except let you farm more. Demon sure walked around a lot, but wasn't even level 6 by the end of the game.
I imagine that the longer this goes on, the less these guys will want to play with each other. I hope it's not the case, but if it's this frustrating to watch as a viewer, then how frustrating must it be for the players?

That's actually really hard to say. For example, when someone leaves a team everyone on forums and reddit go "wow they must hate each other" until the next lan and when they post pictures of the guy/former team hanging out and joking around being super friendly cause they're still friends. (cept EE and Loda, they hate each other and will fight to the death at TI4)
It's pretty hard to speculate if it's really grinding them down or making them more hungry to prove people wrong without knowing them personally.

Cloud 9 wrecking liquid's hopes and dreams forever; sending the team into disarray, turmoil and uncertainty by being complete bad-asses while making all their fans question the players ability to perform! Oh how glorious it is to have a team to root for that actually wins games hahaha #RoadToTI4 #getpwned #hashtagsarelame
Would this discussion even be happening if TL beat EG for the Kiev spot? I think they'll be okay once they finalize their lineup and work on their team cohesion.

no, but liquid fans have pitchforks they want to use
