The best part is it doesn't even necessarily feel like 4 protect 1. The ones they are picking are incredibly capable even from relatively early on. Tiny with Overcharge + Toss + Ava, Tinker with well being Tinker, and Meepo having strong split push from level 10/Agh's (given that 10 on Meepo is earlier than other heroes) all give the one presence that you don't get from some of the more traditional ones in 4-protect-1.
Then on top of that you're seeing the one backed up by heroes capable of using farm/levels like Doom, Puck, Centaur, Veno, etc.

Of course. The "counter" I suggested would work only once, because if you let them have Tiny+Wisp and then beat it, they will go back to Bat and Doom. But then, it'll be like playing a 'normal' team, and you'll have to draft and play like its any other game.

by the way I don't know why the casters were surprised at Tide mid, it's like the don't watch competitive dota at all.
It became pretty standard vs dual lanes these days
and TA's refraction gets murdered by avalanche.

vs fnatic you're essentially forced to ban wisp, tinker, meepo ... but you can't ban all 3 because doom + bat needs to get banned
i think going into ti4 fnatic have found a secret weapon - gonna make for an interesting competition

That could be level 1 rosh, and if it isn't enigma can solo rosh SUPER EASY at like level 3 with howl buff.
Then again, they pay for it in tinker + beastmaster so...

Fnatic don't really use the cheesy roar/hawk teleport.
They use Beastmaster support to stack everything and get Tinker fat. It's awesome.
And of course casters don't know how Fnatic plays BM...
