I don't understand how a team can have 5 horrible drafters. You would think there would at least be one competent draft, but no. TC, Wayto, Bulba, and Demon have a history of sucking at drafting. Never seen qoqjva draft once, but all he wants is tinker all the time.

PPD's take on ET was that his laning is too poor and that if his laning wasn't mega-ass he'd be super good still. This is from the EG perspective of "run a farming carry mid" which leaves either underlevelled support ET (which I only recall EGM succeeding with pre-nerf) or useless offlane ET who can't get anything. I guess EG could actually run 1-pos ET considering they've run fear farming BH/Tide lol

Perhaps it's because in those tourneys most teams are playing on equal ping

Not always. SEA teams sometimes have to play on Chinese servers from their region. The opposite has happened as well, if I'm not mistaken.

There are also purely European tournaments (EU + CIS), where ping differences are negligible. And don't forget about western LANs.

I know you are frustrated by the situation with Liquid's latest game, but your statement is still not correct. We have just as many western tournaments that are not affected by server issues.

You're right ofcourse. Just very frustrating to see Liquid get fucked by a bad server once again. Also frustrating to not see them contest Ayesee's clearly unfair decisions in the lobby. They're not going to get anywhere with this passive ass attitude.. Puppey would've gotten that USE server that he rightfully won in the first coinflip. And frustrating to see them play this badly when the can do so much better.

I missed the bit about the coinflip, as I was driving back from work during game 3.

As bad as server ping was, like they said, you can't blame bad drafts on ping. Ursa/Wisp was sooooo greedy, and that was INTO Invoker and Doom.

I'm going to stick my convictions in that Demon needs to be an active 4, TC needs to be on an semi-carry 1, and they need to acquire an actual drafter in the offseason.
