In this game, it was often applied defensively to save teammates who were otherwise badly positioned to begin with, which I think is boring to watch. In other cases, you're right, there is some skill involved in the communication required to make good aggressive use of it, but the fact that it can be cast globally and costs very little is not impressive to watch. The current iteration is broken. If it doesn't see a nerf before TI4 I can see it being banned every game. | ||

I don't think the mechanic of the skill is broken, in theory, because some heroes do counter it. But the fact it can be cast anywhere on the map, for almost nothing, removes the skill aspect of it. Especially in the early game when it's often obvious on where it should be cast. There's never any question about the cost of using it, or any positional skill involved to take advantage of it, unlike many other dota skills that make the game so hard. I would like to see the skill have some limitation applied somewhere. | ||

DoT spells are out of fashion, it lets cores "overextend" with some safety like Dazzle/Shadow Demon, and tower control is so important even for the offlane. | ||
