How is it "balanced" or even remotely fair to match a full group of 5 people who willingly accepted the invite, versus 2 groups of 2 and 3 or in some cases a solo player + 4 grouped players. I've always had issues with this but not as much as I did last game, I almost abandoned, but chose to let the game end it's course by muting everyone and not caring too much. I couldn't coordinate with the team as much as the other "teamed" guys could (obviously) and especially not as much as 5 teamed people could. I tried my best to figure out what the fuck were they thinking, but alas, it all went to shit, since I was the odd one out. I've had bad games, but these types of games (5v3+2 or 5v4+1) are the worst of all. There were games where I didn't mind losing because the quality of the game was relatively high, but I almost developed a spider-sense for when they match me versus 5 man premades and I'm solo. I know they want to reduce que time but I'd rather make ques longer but the match quality higher. | ||

I know they want to reduce que time but I'd rather make ques longer but the match quality higher. currently if you queue ranked, they'll always queue equal number of equal size stacks (e.g. 2 3 vs 2 3 or 1 1 3 vs 1 1 3) so it'll be fair that way | ||

It's still garbage, I play low priority, normal and ranked games the same way I don't see a valid reason why would they implement that other than the fact that they are either trying to make me play ranked or piss me off (by "me" I mean an average dota 2 player) | ||

Normally i have hero+minions in control group 1; send them somewhere. Then hit F1 to select only the hero and make it the new control group 1 with ctrl+1. At this point the minions are no longer part of the first control group, but as soon as I give a movement order the minions will go there too... | ||
