Linkens is good for the single target silences. Ghost scepter isn't ideal, but reasonable if you are really far behind. BKB is the best, and it does dispel silences.
Edit: Shadowblade mediocre on Storm and is really counter-intuitive to Storm play. BKB allows you to roll and snipe key heroes. You might also want to consider improving your Storm micro, and training yourself to dodge AoE silences. It's tough, but doable when you have 2 good mana regen items. Euls is also a better alternative that's cheaper than Shadowblade and has stats you need. Thanks for the help, I'll go try those ; d. Never considered Eul's

Today i just got a message that said "Game client is out of date. Please close Dota 2 and restart to get the latest version." but my Dota 2 client is already updated. Why does this happen? Can somebody reply? is this a bug or what?

any particular reason why weaver's attack is an orb effect and bounty hunter's jinada isn't?
|
^ Obviously for balance issues

Exit steam and reloging fixes it for me

Can you Maledict a Disrupted (From SD) unit? My understanding was that only SD's spells synergized with Disruption.

weaver's attack isn't an orb effect any more, or at least it stacks with deso and lifesteal and skadi also euls dispels silences on yourself, but bkb is better anyway since it blocks everythnig edit: it also dispels slows and net and some other stuff edit2: it also dispels other stuff like dd and haste so don't get cycloned by invoker while you're hasted it sucks really bad

Is the interaction similar for other effects that make units invulnerable temporarily like omnislash for instance?

His first attack is not an orb, so it does stack with deso and the rest. The geminate attack though is an orb and does not stack with anything else which is what I'm pretty sure he meant by saying it's an orb.

Does Ancient Apparition's ult prevent Void from backtracking?

Verifying integrity of game cache fixed the problem for me. Right click dota2 in steam library>properties>verify. hf

It doesn't heal, it just voids the damage. AA's ulti prevents any and all sorts of healing therefore backtrack can't be classified as a heal in whatever it does.

In dota 1, backtrack was actually a triggered heal equal to the amount of damage you will take.

That is on the confirmed bugs list. Don't see how that is actually a heal though, but ^_^

the triggered heal on void happens within the frame he gets hit aa blast compares health on one frame to health on the frame before, and if it's higher then it sets it back down to whatever it was on the frame before so in theory in dota1 if you mek or heal or something exactly when you get hit the heal will actually go off

Someone did the math at some point, said it was comparable to having all 9 of enchantress' wisps healing you. Makes physical damage hit harder yeah but it's definitely a heal.
