Yes let him have all the farm. If they have blocked your pull camp throw down a sentry and kill there ward blocking it (99.9% of pubs games the enemy blocking the camp with a ward just sticks it right on top of the pull camp). Make money from smoke ganks and pulling that camp. Realistically you should only have tier 1 boots like 30 mins in if the game is even. ALL your money should be in wards, counter wards smoke and dust.
Just throwing this in here but if they got a lot of burst damage like lina/lion etc grab some strength bracers so you dont feed/die in 1 hit.

Why dont more people get blademail if it reflects full damage? It seems like for a cheap 2.2k you can just totally dominate the enemy carry and pretty much any high burst damage hero later. As previously mentioned, it's blocked by BKB.
It's not simply 100% reflect. It's reduced twice: first by your armor/magic resist (choose whichever), then by the damage source's own armor/magic resist. A right-clicking carry tends to have a lot of armor, so that carry actually doesn't take a lot of damage from the blademail. Just maybe if kunkka splash hits a person with blademail (or two), then kunkka gets a lot of reflected damage.
Also if multiple people are focusing you down, your reflected damage is divided among many people.

The damage is returned as pure, only one reduction (on the blademail user) is applied. Pure damage is still blocked by magic immunity but reduced by nothing.

I think very early after the change into active return it might have been magical damage, now it's pure for sure

When Batrider gets tethered while lassoing someone, does the lassoed person join in if they relocate or not?

If Batrider moves more than 400 units in 0.05s the lasso breaks. So for all practical purposes, no.

I really want to see 2 or 3 heroes run into a tinker double march of the machines with blade mail and kill him like a techies.

Um, are mindcontrol type heroes good in public games? They seem like good gankers that can snowball early but do they require coordination with your team during ganks? enchantress seems like a good pick since she can probably solo kill people faster and chen's skills seem more of the supportive kind or is there something im missing?

Enchantress ganks are among the strongest early in the game. Impetus also scales well if you need to carry. Chen carries games in a far less direct way. He requires a bit more coordination, but having a global heal is game changing in most team fights. The issue with jungling in public games is that one of your lanes is going to be solo which means they have to be good enough to not feed.
The creeps you take control of are great for tanking tower hits so you can dive safely early on.
|
So is it feasible to use mind control types in lane? Sometimes pub games have no people who are willing to listen and it would be kind of awkward to have to go mid and realize halfway though the game you would be useless, Seems like here chen is the better laner since he has his creeps for forever. Also do they scale well with gold AKA should i be taking kills on purpose?
