SR first was a lot more useful when you could use it to take big ancient stacks, so it would pay for itself. These days I think it's hard to justify unless your supports have triple stacked like half the jungle.

sr is nice if u march a lot of jungle creeps early game. it's better on radiant than on dire
on tinker save skill points until 3~5 (laser, save, laser, save, etc). a lot of the time u can get kills with a sudden rocket
almost always max march by 11 tho, don't max laser/rocket unless you're stomping

I just activated a double damage rune while in ult on Storm Spirit and it just didn't work. Is this supposed to happen or is it a glitch? I bottle while zipping all the time so I just assumed activating runes would also work?

Defensive support like lich is less likely to lose, with the lane pushing under your tower. In a hard lane i go 1 point in frostarmour at lvl2 which is allways worth it. Even if your carry is retarded atleast he is less likely to feed early with frostarmour, it is a really good spell even mid/late game it has can have an impact.

I think it's a bug, it even happens if you activate DD and ball lightning right after. Has happened to me several times.

you go invulnerable during ball, maybe you can't apply runes to invulnerable characters

what RB said sounds like a bug though

i said lvl2 (1 point) if needed, not max frostarmour.

Lich is not a defensive support. Lich is an offensive support. His protective ability is actually very poor, his strength is his sustainable harassment and denial. You don't run him with carries who need protection, you run him with self-sustaining offlaners or mids that need the boost to their offensive potential (e.g. offensive 2v1s mid to suppress an enemy solo).

It's still situational to get Frost Armor before 6. You usually need 2 points Sacrifice to support Frost Blast because of how high the mana cost is, so anything other than 3-0-2 at 5 is a sacrifice in offensive capability. You only get Armor against specific lanes where you need the buff to survive, but that's not ideal.

Whether you level Sacrifice past 2 is actually what depends on the game. I usually stop it at either 2 or 3.

Just tested it. All runes work except DD, definitely a bug.

either you're probably against a dual lane, or a solo offlane.

against solo offlane with only a dual-lane it can be often hard to get a kill, so if you cant zone them out of xp, if you ever leave lane your carry will now get shat on by their offlaner
for against solo offlane check out fluffs youtube video


if its dual versus dual, you have to think that most people who pick dual offlane do so to make sure they win that lane, whereas often you have a hard-carry + support. therefore you will lose this lane straight up, you just cant win this 2v2, then if you have a jungler, their safelane has freefarm, so they can win all lanes and just win the game from that pretty much.

if it is 2v2 where you are weaker, its often best to just leave your carry to get xp whilst you a) stack for them to catchup
b) gank other lanes, especially mid, letting your other cores snowball giving space for your carry later.

then you can come back when they are 6 and maybe try and get a kill with their ulti

c) be patient, only be aggressive when one goes to get rune and leaves the other solo.

if you're the carry in this scenario, then I find it a bit more awkward, just have to be patient and not panic, build in a way that you can move to the jungle as soon as possible if getting literally 0 farm.

edit: also safelane lich makes me want to throw up. He is so good at supporting mid or offlane, his potential just seems waste in the safelane. i'd rather leave the safelane carry solo, than support there with lich

did they increase the droprate of "random drops"?
in my last 3 games i have seen more drops than in my last 100 before.

Yes, they changed the drop system in the last patch.

Whoever designed the last one was either bad at math or bad at social engineering because the amount of games you could go without seeing anyone get a drop was absurd and not a good system.
