why would you call for changes, they had a really bad day, I might even call it a terrible day, but jumping the gun and calling for changes, I don't think so

If anything, recent results favor teams that made few roster changes, even if they didn't have too much success initially (or at least generally played together for a long time, like Alliance).

As for the last game, I never want to watch TvZ again.

I'm not calling for roster changes right now. I'm just saying it looks like it's heading that way in the near future. When Liquid's new CSGO team played their first couple of games, people were already calling for the team to replace Daps. It was obviously that the team wasn't working out.

You can just tell something isn't quite meshing with the dota 2 team, too. I don't think it's the roles that need to be changed. To me, it looks like some of the players are under performing like Jerax.

yeah draft could have been better, nothing that can't be fixed tho.

Blizzard moved towards the Major system, precisely to avoid this disband syndrome. There are 2 more majors + international coming up, no need to jump the gun and do hasty roster changes.

FWIW, on yesterday's Kappa Studios cast, Envy, Bone7 and Comewithme(? not sure about the third caster) felt that Team Liquid is currently the best team in EU, ahead of both Secret and MB. Envy felt that on LAN, at best secret had a 45%-50% chance vs Liquid. Keep in mind that these valuations are based not just on tourney results, but also on scrims, so they probably have better insight than us.
Envy fan since NTH.

Envy also hyped up the old Liquid in the first month or so (the qojqva/wayto iteration) though

In high pressure situations, it's the unity and composure as a team that matter, and that's usually where teams succeed or fail in the end.

The 3rd guy on the cast was Beesa. I doubt roster changes are coming, the team has been doing pretty well in recent weeks and in any case it's pretty early to assess how well this team can do. But of course the major was the biggest short term goal, and if they were to do poorly at Nanyang then I wouldn't be that surprised if some of the players wanted to change the lineup. This far you could say that the team was in the "honeymoon phase", and now after they have to face major disappointment they will probably see whether the team can work. Of course it depends a bit also on if some other teams want to change players and there would then be spots on other teams or some free agents available. But on the other hand if they do well at Nanyang then it probably will make them think that they can do well and this qualifier was just them underperforming a bit.

Still think they are a solid team, would have probably ranked them as the most likely to advance to the majors before the qualifiers started. There is still potential for them to be really good with enough practise togheter.

How can they be unified, it's the first months since they're together

I wouldn't say that the drafts suck, they are just different, they were working out fine, but not today

also ok JerAx underperforming, but also where was MC in that last game ? how many good hooks did he land, 2-3... they should've won that game but they made bad decisions, they either will learn or ...

MB drafts were just better today, that meepo pick was def a draft loss but it happens. Team looked pretty damn good in the group stage and lost to some well executed strategies today. Jerax def has room to grow in this roster but I think they showed their potential and I think a good showing at Nanyang is in the works.

calm down this team is the real deal. MB were definitely the better team and they are no pushovers either. just give them a little time because if their performance in the group stages were any indication, i wouldnt be surprised if these guys will be among the very best (if not the best) in the upcoming months

I really don't like Fata. Never considered him as a good midder(since I first saw him in Mouz 3-4 years ago, C9 days didn't change my opinion either). I'd take some 7-8K pubstar over Fata anyday.

Send Matumba Mid, move Kuro to Carry and replace Fata with a good buddy for Jerax. And then Jerax helps with draft to Kuro(dont know if he does already).

Fata its super good, but he is in a weird situation because his signature heroes (Puck and Troll) are just so out of meta nowadays

i dont think he should be replaced at all
