Fata its super good, but he is in a weird situation because his signature heroes (Puck and Troll) are just so out of meta nowadays

Well but his other signature heroes beastmaster and razor are ok right now. Zeus could come back too, who knows. He also seems to learn quite fast about the meta heroes too. His storm was awful at first, but later he got quite good at it. his qop is also amazing, i think he is in a good place right now.

this team has some great potential, I don't think there needs to be roster changes. IMO there were some players that didn't perform as well as others but I can attribute that to just having a bad day because I think all of the 5 are very talented and if they have good team atmosphere and coordination that's more important than getting a 1% more skilled player that won't mesh as well with the team. Keep it up guys, and keep practising. Majors are child's play, the crown is at TI

I have been a loyal Liquid fan since 2013 , I don't wish this team to disband , I think this team has huge potential even with the results they have

No one is saying disband, they are saying this team needs to step it up, and everyone has a different opinion on how to step it up. Majority says they should keep working together, some like myself say they should put Kuro to carry, and some call for roster changes.
BUT DISBAND IS NOT AN OPTION!!!!

I mean the performance of Liquid was alright, the EU scene is super stacked and even though they probably were the favorites going into the qualifier it was hardly by any significant margin.

Liquid is basically in this group of teams made of tier 1 players but without a tier 1 captain/drafter. So unless you manage to bring in someone like Puppey/fng/ppd/xiao8/s4, which is most likely not going to happen, roster changes will not improve anything.

In the end the performance of Liquid was what you can expect of them, they looked strong overall but they will always have this random chance of sometimes falling flat due to getting outdrafted/outstrategized like what happened vs Alliance. Hell you could probably replace Fata with Sumail it probably wouldn't change shit.

All in all, the best is probably to change nothing and just keep working hard to build team synergy/improve the drafts.

The team looks fairly okay, but I'm not sure they have the talent to break out of the pack of t2/borderline t1 teams in Europe. Ehhh I assume liquid is in it for the longer than this haul, so no need to worry yet.

They played well and had 1 bad day. They crushed the group phase. So I really don't understand the critics here.

Too bad about the botched qualification for the first Major, but to quote the great EE-sama: LMFAO wHo cAREAS HAHA Xd.

All that matters is the International and Liquid obviously wouldn't have picked up these guys if they didn't believe they will be legitimate contenders to win TI. GL

Crush group stage, botch the bracket. Now that sounds familiar.

5 entirely new players and it still manages to be Liquid .

The team is fine, EU seems super stacked with a lot of really strong teams, Liquid not qualifying while sad isn't the end of the world. Just have to prepare for Nanyang tournament and they will be fine. Do well there or maybe even win that and a few more tournaments and I'm they can aim for getting invited to next major.

Foking bring them here already.
Also if they disband I'd jump on a plane, fly 2.5 hours, spend 200+ euros to slap all of team members then turn back.
