I was just checking Liquid's stats with this current TI WINNING squad and realized that Matumbaman's Necrophos is 15-1.
Really shows his versatility. Dude can play pretty much everything it feels like. And it really highlights how goddamn impossible it was for teams to ban against Liquid.

so many saltlords complaining that liquid won by cheesing opponents. they saw the opportunity in drafts and seized them. the players had the skill and versatility to play the best hero for the situation. and even if there was some elements of cheese, surely it's better than being a one trick pony team

Also really cool stat, Liquid played 19 main stage games. Newbee only played 10, I think in many ways dropping so early to LB was a really big help for getting their momentum rolling and for them to learn.

Congrats to liquid on their TI victory. Total and complete dominance in the finals against Newbee. I myself am not the biggest fan but enjoyed watching their games and am glad that Kuro was finally able to lift that Aegis.

So happy for Liquid as a whole, seems to me Kuro was always the "adult in the room" whatever team he was in (I may be wrong but it's my perception anyway) and it's nice to see him rich now =)
GH is such a monster, Miracle obviously prodigy player, Macumba solid and reliable him and MC make so many sick plays.
When Jerax left I thought Liquid was done for, and suddenly a wild GH appeared and crushed :D

The impact gh made in the pro scene is similair to sumail before ti5. Just an incredible player and a super nice guy. And im sorry jerax, but im not sad you left, gh is just better;)

I'm honestly so impressed with the variety of styles Liquid pulled out in this tournament. Like, 100-minute farm-fests waiting for the other team to make a mistake? Check. Deathball push strats? Check. Horrifying rat dota? Check. Straightforward "win teamfights and then hit buildings" games? Check. Did you leave yourself open to Brood and/or Huskar? Joke's on you, we play both of them!
I'm not saying every style they play is the most entertaining thing to watch, but you gotta respect a team that will just play any style they think will win this game, and then completely switch it up the next.
