In the end im pretty sure they will not get the winners spot. I think they need to find a solid drafting. The last tourney they won was clearly defined. You had core LD, KOTL/IO/SLARDAR in each draft and now people are experimenting. Thats the weakness of liquid at this stage - I dont feel like they got outplayed in their games, it s more a problem of solid drafting ideas. On day 1 the games against IG - I felt like they were really unprepared. Not banning lina makes no sense to me. Its their number 1 comfort hero they have great success with, as core and as a support. Just ban it and they re done.

But honestly im impressed by GH naga. Miracle's SK was also very good. Apart from some bad luck and 1-2 awesome jukes by Arteezy they pretty much forced 2-3 heroes to chase him with no success.

Mc had some pretty bad Rps in game 2, but the rest of the team was there. It was mostly gh and miracle that game though.

The amount of times Matu and MIracle were picked off for no reason... Even after that happening tons this game, the last one, when Liquid lost their mid rax was just so bad. I mean, NP get rosh and the lane is pushed in already, but miracle is still hanging around. unnecessary loss imo

As much as i am disappointed that we will be joining the Losers bracket and the Bo1 gamble, i am happy that dota2 playlevel is getting higher and higher.

Any misplay, any bad luck, any risky draft can lead to a disaster. Doesnt change the fact that they underperformed, made way too many mistakes in half of their games. I talk about mistakes they normally wont make, not mistakes forced by the enemy team. Well im just disappointed for now and need to get this out. I still love the team, and will cheer hard for them in 3 days ![]()

The frustrating thing is they could do so much better. Liquid is not like certain teams were u think "ok thats just how good/bad the team is, not much they can do". These players are amongst the best on their position, and we know they can play dominant, with amazing synergy and very few mistakes. They should have won like half of the games they lost...i really hope they can do something in the loosers bracket, but for now i have zero expectations. draft issues. RP - Roar - Global Silence, played correct you have similiar timings. Roared target will always die with RP as the only counterplay strategy, cause of the global silence behind.

Give them a break, they're good, we don't know their plan and they obviously are trying new strats, to list some: nature, gh naga, gh magnus, drow, lich, phoenix, medusa. Please just chill.

They took a game off Newbee, EG, and a really strong NP. I don't think their performances or their drafts were anywhere near as disastrous as people claim. Just look at the Naga game with GH, it looked horrible for Liquid from the start, but their solid game plan and execution won them the game. Their drafting simply needs a few adjustments and individual plays need to improve and be more consistent but I don't think they look that much worse than other Group B teams. It's just a really hard group and most of the teams except maybe IG have been absolutely humiliated by their opponents too.
