Kuro finally stopped the Oracle/Ogre Magi obsession And instead of trying to protect the cores defensively they just wreak havoc all over the map and in effect protect them more than the defensive supports ever did. Like this game - AF focus so much on shutting down Miracle, Liquid let him die instead murder the other two lanes in the meantime where before Bulba would be there babysitting him letting the other team's cores easy time in lane. You'd never see Miracle getting SUUUUPER LOOONG initiation by OD mid, 3 heroes obviously closing in on him there was like 15seconds left to TP for Liquid's supports. They left him to die and instead kill Bat, get tower, matumba keeps pressuring PA and Miracle comes back later anyways with the space created

If they are able to perform well now, I really would love to see the explanations of the bulba crowd. For sure in the end its kuros new drafting - : P

I just hope GH doesn't end up being drafted Dazzles and Warlocks like Jerax was. ![]()

So yeah not sure why Kuro didn't think of this earlier, Bulba is an offlane player for gods sake, his Nyx, Rubick were very good but he'd literally never draft aggressive duo like WD+Rubick or Bounty+Rubick now. With GH's primary hero pool that won't be an issue. Only defensive hero he plays a lot is Io

It's about positioning and coordination. So many times, you would see GH draw attention to himself to get a good fighting position for his team. Other times he would scout out the enemies before they made their move and stop them in their tracks with a good lift (for instance, stopping batrider from countering void, or preventing OD from getting in position to right-click). By putting himself into the fray, he made it possible for KuroKy to take part in the fights very aggressively and do a decent amount of damage, without feeding a lot. Of course, the astral helped a lot with that ![]()

Also he's glad he has a position4 specialist so he can focus on playing 5 and leading the team (again, never even gave Bulba a chance with the Ogre/Oracle picks for him constantly. But with GH he doesn't have to - he only plays 4 heroes)

Well the possibility is that it didn't work in scrims, effectively limiting their drafting is reasonable actually As scrims were the same reason why they didnt play Matu drow/luna which was also baffling to us
