Nightsalker silence + SD Purge are already great spells against Lifestealer who leans on his Rage to get quick kills at the start of fights. With this in mind and after picking Brood 4th, Alliance bans Winter Wyvern and not Axe.... Understand this, F5 needed 3 things from their last pick (1) Good brood counter (2) long duration hard control specifically for timber (3) more spell immunity control if possible as all they had is Purge once Alliance got BKBs. This is literally the definition of Axe. Instead, of banning the most obvious brood counter and the counter that clearly fits all of their opponents needs, Alliance banned WW. I don't know if Alliance was just overconfident that F5 wouldn't pick another strength hero into timber, but you not banning axe was just absolutely mind numbingly stupid. The only way Alliance were winning that game is if they got a big lead or if their opponents started making mistakes. *edit* and now vs secret what do they do, just draft a bunch of iconic non-meta stuff. All they had to do was ban axe and their draft was perfect. full tilt mode activated...

It's such a colossal waste of talent. All they have to do is let go of the past, and start being the edgy team that's taking risks when it matters the most. They have the talent, they have the drafter, they don't have the balls.

They dont have playmaking supports or greedy supports , so we are stuck with 2 defensive supports most games , Akke has a legendary Axe i feel we should draft it at least once as a #4 vs those greedy ass teams , we are getting exploited hard , we arent greedy and we arent aggresive which mean teams can greed against us easily with no worries in the world.

Always feels like Alliance makes them run into a wall and just win in the long run over bigger series'. The loss vs Secret really was a coinflip so meh, the loss vs Fantastic Five was unexpected in my book. Still pretty early in and I would have them easily as top2 or top3 in this if this was all bo5 games as an example. Just don't tilt, play your game and shoot for a still realistic 2nd or 3rd place if they start winning now

I'm a minor Escape fan so can't say I care all that much myself about it to begin with but I know how shitty I felt when Liquid got trashed by OG and MVP during the majors... so you at least got empathy comming from me if that helps ![]()
