Na'Vi was dominating the scene up till Dreamhack where they lost to mTw in the grand final. That was probably the only tournament Na'Vi didn't win between TI1 and TI2. It's true that they didn't look as good as they had, but Na'Vi today is the worst the team has been in years.

And alliance and tongfu are different teams. They pulled of that kind of strat must mean they are not so confident in there chances to win vs tongfu in a normal game. But talking about it will lead to nothing since its already a year ago.

Dota 2 with the lastest patches has becoming a really REALLY volatile game, teams dominate for a month or two and fell down hard, i dont knwo if its the problem of the patches but the way the game is changing (almost every patch changes A LOT from the game, i would dare to say more so than the oldest patches) so teams have to re-learn the game constantly, which end up putting some teams in weird positions (Alliance for example).

Last patch hasn't changed much. We can't compare Dota 2 to a game like SC2 which often jumps the gun on patching. Oftentimes, patches take a long time to get figured out and the transition between "top" teams isn't as volatile as most people think. Na'Vi is just as skilled as before, the other teams have just gotten better and they (Na'Vi) haven't improved enough to continue their dominance.

I dont wanna get into whether the pudge chen bug abuse was a legit strat as it will just lead to a long drag on argument. But to say that Navi should beat tongfu in a rematch because they beat orange? And because they almost won a rematch against Alliance? Wtf? Dota is not maths, A>B and B>C does not mean A>C. And at that level, any team can beat each other. In TI3, To say that because u think Navi could've beaten tongfu in a rematch thats why they deserve to advance is even more ridiculous, like wtf? How sure are u about that? U can't even be sure that they'll beat tongfu. And tongfu was obviously the better performer in TI3 up til the finals. Their performance in the finals was superb. You are very funny bro....

They should be able to catch up after a bootcamp....

Good money to be had on top16 so they will try to go as high as they can for the money but that will only get you so far. They have the potential for an easy top 6 and battle for a top 3. 2) Winning everything else: why bother with 10 tournaments when you can win more just from one?

I really, really disagree with this logic. I can guarantee you the fire is there to win TI. Is it as strong as every other team? Who knows, but I don't think there is any reason to believe that they can't feasibly have as much of a will to win. Their potential motivation is just as great as anyone else's and no-one but Na'Vi has the ability to say what their motivation levels are at.
