We'll see if the Summit, Dreamleague and ESL is going to be a rude awakening call. I hope it will. And of course they boot camp for a bit before TI's in general so I'm hoping they get their stuff together in time for TI4. A lackluster Na'Vi performance at TI4 will make it a lot less enjoyable for me It's sad how much I depend on specific teams to do well for me to enjoy a tournament... But I guess that's how I view all my favorite sports (whether I'm a true fan of the game or of the team... who knows)

I'm done with doubting this team, last year was the same thing, they're doing bad they're gonna suck at TI and suddenly 1 game away from winning it.
Probably gonna just Top 4 TI4 easy right?

Exactly. And every year it is the same comments about how 'Na'Vi are performing badly right now'. They're all very clutch, they practice hard individually and once they have played a few games together and get in sync they will be playing at a tier 1 level. Dendi even said on stream they hadn't played any games together this patch (until these tournament matches). This will change.
I think they know what works for them. No grinding games until everybody on the team hates each other, just a little practice prior to big events so they're all on the same page and putting their individual talents towards the same objectives, some good drafts, some clutch plays.

Can we know who is #1?

XBOCT is #4. What a coincidence!

I hope they get it together for events preceding TI4, honestly. It seemed like a good preparation + form coming into TI3 after all, never a bad thing to repeat solid results and a successful formula.

I hope so, because if western hopes for TI4 are pinned on EE's ability to carry vs chinese lategame we are in for a bad time.

I'm sure they will. They seem to pull themselves together when they boot camp. We will have a good idea of the form they are truely in after ESL. If they fail there then it's probably not gunna look good for Ti4

Just confirmed on the EUHub stream that NaVi is scrimming vs C9. Maybe it's finally time to get serious?
|
Nah, they need to lose for 3 weeks straight before it's time to get serious.
|
Na'vi forfeited vs EG in the dreamleague, sucks that they couldn't have just played from the start with no DDOS Oh well, they'll have a busy schedule regardless. Let's hope they get ready for TI4 Wouldn't be a proper TI without Na'vi doing well

They'll be fine. It's all about peaking at the right time

Probably gonna just Top 4 TI4 easy right? Well, they finally fixed Chen+Pudge this year, so who knows :D

Na'Vi can lose all the online matches in the world and still be in The International final, that shouldn't be anything new at this point. Like how fast do people forget?
|
It's normal to worry about the team you support, even if their history constently shows the opposite. I'm not doubting them and think they will place at least in the top 4 of TI4, but still there is this thought "what if this is the end of their reign ?".
I can't even name a team or a player which has dominated the scene for more than 3 years in e-sports. So yeah its legitimate to be slightly afraid for them.

Good to know they're going to be back on track.....

Well, Dendi talked about that in his stream he said something like that he has confidence in his team as if he doesnt he wont be playing in NaVi and that the biggest difference was that NaVi has the skills to be the best team but they dont work hard enough, he knows that hard work >>>>>> better players in Dota 2 and they talker as a team and acknowledge that they have to change some things like more training, etc...
Of course this is something everyone knew, but its good to know that they know what they have to do and they are doing it
