Lol no. Sumail looked really bad pre TI 6. EG sacrified Sumail in the mid lane.
Yesterday, they kinda did the same thing, not sure why. But I think they won't make the same mistake again coming to TI. Fear and SVGesus are good enough to see the problem.
A bit of a dissapointing finish in Mars tournament, but it seemed like they were trying out a whole bunch of heroes and team comps. I can't wait to see what they bring to TI next month

Yeah, and it seemed like both games they lost versus OG they were in a pretty decent position to take the game, but then got caught out a few times and couldn't recover.
The MDL result isn't as bad as it looks imo. They tied for second in the group stages, but got the unfortunate end of a four-way tiebreaker to turn their knockout stage into single elim rather than double elim. Furthermore, they were eliminated by OG, but went 2-2 against them in the tournament overall, so it's hard to definitively argue OG is actually ahead of them atm.
On an unrelated note, head-to-head is kind of a senseless tiebreaker in a full round robin.
My takeaway is that all of the top 5 teams at MDL are close in skill. I don't see much evidence that any teams are way ahead of the others, so I doubt MDL results will be very predictive of TI results. Which is reassuring as an EG fan.
I'm sure there's a story behind this tweet, I would pay good money to hear it
eh it's really nothing. she streams cooking on twitch, and some people donated asking her to give a shoutout to rtz. and because so many ppl did it, she probably became curious and did her own research
So far the Boys are 6-4, and their games are all over the place, some quick wins, some lategame lossess, a silly draft or two. I hope they can stabilize their play, it's only gonna get harder :I
I'm not to worried yet, I think as long as they make the upper bracket they don't care too much about the groupstage. Traditionally EG has been a team that learns a lot from their losses, let's see if they still do.
I wouldn't be worried. It appears that they're still playing around with drafts. Plus they have shown that they've been playing naga support, prepping for the rtz naga checkmate.
