When I was watching the games, it didnt feel like watching the same EG team from the last 10 months... What happened to Sumail this TI? He has not been himself imo. And I just cant understand this thing about rtz... he is a great player... and I love his persona, but as others have mentioned, inside of dota2, I dont feel like I cant trust in him carrying games when it mathers. Im not sure what EG should do right now... but I trust in the the boys + pps and fear to use some time to analyze and find out what happened. If changes is what they need, I think Crit and rtz are in most danger tbh. But personally im not sure if they actually need changes. | ||

To be fair to them this TI is crazy from west POV , they are getting murdered (aside from VP for some reason) so maybe the western meta was bad , but they had time to adjust and they didn't, Fear + PPD were the heart of EG now it seems they have 0 mental strength to comeback from the abyss. Good luck to them in the future. | ||

just a bunch of chill kids playing dota. Hope they would stick together but I wouldn't be surprised if they split, even if they are all on good terms cr1t just isn't the strongest drafter and as a team if you know every match you have to outplay your opponents hard to win cause of a bad draft it just sucks. EG was also playing bad, they just didn't seem cohesive at all | ||

- They lack a leader. None of their players have ever captained a team. 4 of them are around 20 and, while they have proven skills, they may not have neither the experience nor the authority required to lead. They may develop that in the future but right now they are no leaders. The 5th, Universe, has great experience but he's not the leader type. He's at his best when he has someone else calling plays. - Both supports are playmakers. Cr1t and Zai work at their best when they can either roam or get some farm, pressure enemies, make plays and so on. As defensive supports/babysitters/position 6 they aren't that good so one of them will clearly be forced out of his comfort zone. As such, it's no surprise Cr1t underperformed given the fact he had both to lead and play something he wasn't used to. - Arteezy and Sumail seem to be at their best when playing the 1 position mid. As a safelane farmer Arteezy seems to be underwhelming at times (though he also had top quality moments) and rarely performs in key games. The lack of a proper 5 position players also doesn't help either of them. | ||

I hope they use this experience and stay together or at least one more go but If Crit does leave they should pick up Stan King (C9 coach) he captained Freedom to a good finish in qualifiers and helped EG at TI6, that is if PPD doesnt fancy it. | ||
