Not the same skill but EE actually wants to get better. I cannot help thinking RTZ is bored with dota Don't think trying to talk sense is worth tbh

If just casting spells mean you can play invoker at competitive level then yea he knows.... You just need to see his team secret days when he played mid. Several invoker games, but he plays the hero awkwardly unlike miracle/ana/noone etc...

Also "plays awkwardly" is just a vague buzzword with no real meaning to it. I used to watch tons of RTZ vods on YT and his Invoker always looked very solid to me, maybe not too flashy but his laning was good, his sunstrikes were good, he always had great farm and generally his spell usage was on point. Also, if he really came back to the mid lane role for good I'm sure that with his mechanics and experience he would have no trouble learning to play Invoker at a world-class level. I mean I'm pretty sure he can play invoker in that he can lane, can land sun strikes, can do the usual combos, can farm etc. I'm quite sure most pros (even Mushi) can do that. But invoker is a special hero. You need the intuition on your spell usage and movements etc to have an impact. Awkward sounds vague but it's hard to describe what's missing, mainly because rtz probably is already playing a relatively good invoker, yet nowhere near midone/miracle/sumail etc in terms of skill on the hero. People joke about ee's invoker for the same reason. As of now, I dare say he is not good enough of a competitive invoker player relative to his mid peers. Maybe he will improve in time, but he sure needs a lot of work because his secret invoker days were not impressive at all.

Hopefully that will change the next time these 2 teams meet, I do not think Alchemist is a ban worthy pick anymore.
