I mean obviously this conversation not worth responding to but it's laughable. (And I'm as disappointed as anyone by their DAC performance and Ofc have my own opinions, but damn try a bit harder plz.) +1
lets just see what happens at kiev

Shame about DAC but it's not end of the world. I'm sure they will bounce back and stomp some faces at Kiev.

PPD basically said that EG started winning when they studied the group stages and started focusing on stronger lanes instead of the illusion heroes.
Then two games straight they drafted weak lanes. I don't really think it's too much of a secret why they lost against Newbee.
Granted, I doubt they would come close to beating IG or OG, but 3rd place was more than possible.

Good games today from the boys, especially Sumail and Uni. Looks like Secret will be their next opponent, it should be a good series

The classic!! When was the last the secrekt match ??

they f-ing destroyed thunderbirds.

Should've been the first sign that Secret would lose. Secret vs EG never happens at a major.
|
Well that was unexpected xD

EG trying to give their fans heart attacks that series
|
It's good to have intense series like this though. The boys can learn a lot.
Let's clean up OG and take the championship tomorrow.

They better get some sleep zzz

No, that was Game 1 vs Ehome @ TI6.
Granted, that might have been the most hype game in Dota 2 history. Plus it had a meta that allowed for far more back & forth gameplay.
SG played better yesterday than they did against Secret. With the state of the current Meta, getting team-fight victories on the opponent's side of the river is how you actually break high-ground. (Or mass illusion spam.) SG was 1 one less team-fight loss in game 3 from winning.
Granted, game 2 required being >30k ahead to actually take the base. It's hard to break a base without illusion spam right now, yet taking a Tier 3 is incredibly valuable.

RTZ didn't deliver this series. Pop to Smail though, the kid played really well.
This version of EG is like "so close, but not quite yet".
I miss old man Fear.

Yeah out to OG again feels bad. Not a bad result though, so hope they can get the next one!
rtz had some good game on slark, but I think they were relying on slark too heavily
|
Another high finish is very nice, but I was hoping for a grand finals showing Oh well, there's always next time, and the boys gave us amazing games this Major. EG hwaiting!
|
I no longer have faith in RTZ. Honestly I think someone like EE would be better. Not the same skill but EE actually wants to get better. I cannot help thinking RTZ is bored with dota
|
Whenever (read: coincidentally) I see other Slark games, they don't seem to lag behind as they have a midas as well. That game, RTZ went all in with the SB pick up first (not a bad thing) but didn't get much out of it. In fact, he got nothing but lost farming opportunity and levels.
I feel like the EG line up would power spike 10mins after OGs and they were better off dodging fights at the 15min mark instead of trying to fight and fight and fight. This feel more like a leadership/captaining problem. Just my thoughts anyway.
