Recently rewatched Gunbuster/Diebuster. Probably my favourite of all time.

Anyway, here are some movies I've seen myself and can recommend (titles are linked to anidb entries where you can find more info about them): + Show Spoiler +

Does anyone else think Vici just noticed rosh because of the crowd? They were running towards top when the game started and changed route midway.

The crowd may have played a factor but who knows. The booths are quite well soundproofed I would assume. I think the roshan attempt was a bad idea to be honest. It's much too big of a gamble on such an important game.

I had this thought also. Either the crowd or the announcer saying "look look" or whatever was said. In the interview rotk said that he scouted for it and then the team came which is definitely not the case as by the time veno saw them the whole team was already there.
C9 didn't need to gamble.. but they could have safely with a deeper observer ward or a scouting (full life) treant.
I'm waiting for the video/replay to see exactly the timing of the announcer/crowd's reaction, and the change of movement of the VG heroes.. I hope if there were shenanigans people give it the attention it deserves. But seriously why not put a deeper ward or scout

Even if the booths are proof against people screaming there is still the vibrations from them and the reactions on their faces. I don't really think it played much of a factor, if VG could hear it then C9 likely could have too, they still took the risk.

Well in LGD vs Zenith in TI2 it was really the crowd giving away the rosh, so C9 should have known.

I really think Valve should be held accountable if this happened again then. They have a responsibility to make sure the game can be played fairly.
The replay matched up with the stream audio will make it pretty clear.

Crowd didn't give anything away.
Please learn to lose and stop whining c9 had a great run and they should be proud of what they achieved they placed above many other teams who were considered better then them.

I'm pretty sure the majority of VG were headed up top as C9 entered the rosh pit. Then they instantly turned around and went towards the pit. Did the crowd help them or did they have a "waiiit a sec, they're roshing" moment. Who knows?

Well I'm sure there will be someone that can translate the booth audio after TI4 is finished so we can maybe clear things up.

I didn't say I was sure they did, I'm saying the radiant movement in conjunction with rotk's interview is suspicious and should be looked into.
What's your evidence that they didn't? It's happened before.

It's the fact that rotk said they figured it out during drafting that means it definitely wasn't a realization during gameplay. If the announcer/crowd happens at the exact same moment at the as they change direction.. and the interview makes it clear they didn't realize it on their own right when they changed direction, this is evidence beyond a reasonable doubt. As I said we have to wait to see the replay though.
