The annoying thing I found in my brief use of Parsec is it streams your Discord audio as well so everything echoes, whereas Steam streams app specific audio. Or did I miss a setting somewhere?

There's a setting in parsec that is supposed to kill the echo but it didn't work for me. My homebrew solution is, as the host, to use a headset exclusively for discord audio output. That seemed to kill the echo for my buddy without messing up anything else.
I think moving any audio source off of the default audio output will stop it from streaming.

I would use steam couch play but ofc samsho is epic exclusive and you can't even use the offline modes if it doesn't launch through egs

That game would be the greatest gaming achievement of all time imo. If you made a Simpsons RTS based on the AOE2 engine that's my entire childhood. A beatemup is frankly never wrong.

In keeping with doing "ITH things" I just finished Superdimension Neptune, I think there are 2 other Nep games on Steam that I haven't beaten. I only own one of them though, the other will have to wait.
