With the Game Pass, I think some games are permanent and some are temporary. It's not even a bad amount of money to pay to just try out lots of different titles, but I'm a bit unsure if I want to commit to the system, and then have the titles I want to play disappear from the Game Pass, either forcing me to buy it outright, or wait for a Steam sale.
Right now some examples include some of the older FF games I never tried, and the Yakuza franchise which would also be kinda nice to try. I still have a good bill of Steam games I want to beat, so it's not like I'm out of things to play for the time being. Just wasn't sure if it would be more practical to try out the Microsoft thing, or to just stick to Steam sales.
(I play a lot of games on my xbox, not a pc, but I think that doesn't matter here)
I really like game pass. I think "using it to download a game that you need to buy later" isn't a huge problem, because it still lets you decide that you *actually* want to buy the game -- a few weeks ago I downloaded Dishonored 2, played a few hours, and decided it wasn't for me. Doing that was free - it woulda sucked to have bought the full game and not liked it.
Also, there are a *ton* of great indie games on game pass. Many of them can be finished in like 10 hours or so. It's pretty common for me to grab an indie game off of game pass on friday and beat it basically over a weekend. It's free, it rules.
Also, related to the above, it makes me much more likely to try out new games because you're not committing to anything other than "waiting for the game to download." This makes new game discovery easier.
Awesome, thanks! I'm probably gonna give it a spin once I clean up a couple of games from the backlog. Which honestly shouldn't take that long. I do like the idea that you can use it to demo games as desired without buying it first and then getting a refund. Some titles are probably permanent due to belonging to Microsoft, but a lot of the other titles are at least worth checking out I feel.

Can't you still spread it after being vaccinated? hmmm
when you get vaccinated (im getting my second shot tomorrow) you still get infected and can infect, the thing is, it makes the virus like (if i remember correctly) a normal cold FOR YOU.
So if you get corona, itll be a normal cold (99% chance at least) but you'll still have corona and can spread it
With the weather being rather not nice today I'm huddled up on the sofa and was scrolling Teamliquid.com and found out about Aerial Powers and a diversity & inclusion task force among other things.
That was quite suprising and showed me how little I actually notice here on LD about how (kinda?) big TL appears to be becoming overall. I was a bit weirded out by the latter part of Arhancet's quote though:
— a mentality that makes her a perfect fit for Team Liquid’s winning culture.

That doesn't really sound like you? Never read you posting something like this. Are you alright? What reasons are there that stop you from actively quitting?
