Aghanim's Scepter: Grants a new ability, Eyes in the Forest, which allows Treant to enchant trees to spy on his enemies and expand the area Overgrowth affects.
Oh, and crit-building Weaver:
Geminate Attack can now proc items
So much information overload. Treant confirmed counter to tinker, he won't expect the trees he blinked in to be his death! tinker is completely dead... dont need tree cant farm ancients dagon nerfed eblade got wc3 parity (nerfed)
I don't think being unable to farm ancients kills it completely, it just means one less catchup mechanic for March Tinkers who are behind. He'll still wreck creepwaves and teams trying to push highground without bkb.
as for eb/dagon nerf - return of shiva's+hex DotA Tinker?
I'm legitimately excited for this patch, holy shit.

wow so many changes, and big changes. don't like the look of some of them...

By and large, I'm really glad that icefrog has started to make small adjustments to strong heroes rather than huge nerfs. I remember when the fotm cycle meant that a strong hero would be unpickable for two patches after its peak, and I'm really glad we're not doing that anymore.
But that just makes the tinker nerf all the more bewildering. The hero is at 42% in pro games, and 46% in pubs, and he is the only hero in the entire patch to be booted out of the park.

I just realized: if you die, than your team members get increased gold from killing enemies. So dying is not as bad. FEEDING BUFF THANK U ICEFROG!!!!! Seriously, I am so tired of people claiming I made them lose the game because I died more than the rest of the team.
With kills and towers being worth less, I forsee map control and teamfights being all-important this patch. Super-late farming carries get an indirect buff as well.

Be a fookin poor support stack a big camp get xp rune 2lvls higher profit!
Also how did literally no one commented the Glyph being refreshed after every T1 goes down. That's huge.

This is actually really big for the position 4 and 5.
So lets say the position 4 wants to farm up a mek for the teamfights right? the increased mana cost basically means the #5 or even the #3 has to go arcane boots to sustain that support with mana. No more brown boots mek then blink. Position 4 now has to choose between a ganking tool ( blink ) or a teamfight item ( mek ) + mana boots.
That will break up the drafting alot, since you ahve to consider the composition of your team on boots level for your draft. pretty sick imho.
The soulring into bloodstone is interesting. This also creates a very odd decision making on supports, do i get manaboots for the team, or do i get a greedy soulring which i can later turn into bloodstone. Also this indirectly buffs a soul ring storm spirit. now you can go bottle, soulring, bloodstone with PT's instead of mana boots without wasting gold on arcanes, which makes him more deadly early on, and faster bloodstone buildup. That's really big
Also seems that the map changes ( besides roshan ) are more geared towards quicker help towards the offlane, or the other way around, easier ganking the offlane. The dire offlane is now so wide open that the lane itself is a bit easier then radiant, but the ganks from other lanes/sides are more of a threat, which basically nerfs dire offlane.
Tinker did receive indirect nerfs, ( dagon / blink / E-blade ), and ofcourse the direct nerf ( no more ancients ) so i think his itemb uildup will be a bit different now, maybe bottle BoT's then soul ring etc instead of stacking a million ancients and getting soul ring first to decimate a 5 stack ancients in 30 seconds.
In pro matches the direct nerf doesnb't really do that much, supports will stack the normal jungle for him and his farm will be almost the same, he just takes a little longer to be at full capacity with the item changes
@demand2K
The difference between a 11 minute bots blink and a 13 minute bots blink is actually pretty huge for a tinker. He needs to snowball / Farm really fast to be a factor in the game. Ward two of the jungle camps next to the river and he will be shut down so hard, even you don't even think it's funny anymore. Tinker is definatly a situational pick now instead of a "good every game" type of hero

Disappointed that Tinker wasn't nerfed harder, I never want to see that cheat hero ever again as he breaks all conventions, and circumvents what every other hero have to deal with. Was really excited for the last two patches, this one just seem to be either (too) minor changes or the introduction of mega cancer. I realize I've turned into a dota pessimist, as the tinker cancer we've had to deal with in 5k bracket has been beyond anything I could ever imagine before it happened.

The interesting thing is that this actually changes the dynamic of denying T1s a lot. It means it's always worth it to glyph a T1 that's close to dead, and it makes it not always worth it to deny a T1 just because it's in deny range.

And then everyone gets 80 gold from it, because of the gold reduction. No more free blink daggers after we kill all the tier 1s.....

The soulring into bloodstone is interesting. I frequently get Soul Ring before Arcanes on Rhasta but usually will get them next or after Blink, so I have both most games. Some games I will get Refresher but I've been favoring Bloodstone (totally depends on game); the efficiency of disassembling Arcanes I already had PLUS integrating Soul Ring will make this GREAT.
Only problem with it is I could assemble it without going home and now I need a recipe. QQ.
