and also it doesnt trigger the cd until you hit a target
so free movement around the entire map

The cooldown of charge starts resetting after you hit a target (or cancel) and not like it used to from the start of your charge. So it is better in short distance charges but nothing changes for medium or long range charges.

SB used to destroy pubs, was insta-picked for a long time, till everyone learned to 5- man against him. Guess he's mostly going to have an easier time farming since he can move to vacant lanes easily.
Am I right that his greater bash damage is now linked to movement speed? So his passive+bt's gives him a crap-ton of bash damage?

Disturbing...

Although the last time I played him my lvl 4 bash didn't hit for 17 hits in a row...

Bash is the same. It's just rescaled to do twice as much damage level 1.

his greater bash always did damage based on movespeed

but now it has been rescaled to do more damage at level 1

Doesn't matter at this point though, since the game was already dead after ranked made everyone toxic and pubs became unplayable forever after techies.

ive had 1 techies in nearly 10 games in the past week

i've had more pudge players than techies players in those 10 games

it's really not that bad

Yeah Techies fell off real quick after most people realized they didn't know how to play them. Pudge is still the fat stinky king of the fat hill of fats.

Yeah he actually dropped off much faster than I expected him to.

How so? I think PL got nerfed hard.

Early game, he still has no lane presence unless paired with a Kotl so he can spam lances. His rush passive is pretty terrible at early levels, his blink/phase skill has a pretty long cd and also doesn't do that much in lane either.

PL can't split push, rat, or flash farm anymore since his illusions only last 8 seconds, 4 if created by other illusions. Plus, his late game took a huge hit since he lost a ton of Agi gain and he no longer has bonus magic resist. Meaning his illusions not only don't last as long, they're weaker, too.

I'm also like 20 pages late on this, but the reason why I think Bloodseeker is in a stronger spot right now is cause:

While his solo kill potential went down, his general usefulness and teamfight ability is a lot stronger. Bloodrage is a 40% damage increase for everything including spells. That means early game you put it on your nukers and watch them 1 or 2 shot people. Late game you put it on either yourself or your carry and let them shred the enemy.

His Blood Rite skill is gonna be pretty damn good for teamfighting. Yes, there's a long 3 second delay, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The aoe is about as large as Engima's midnight pulse and realistically functions the same way in that it's a huge zone control/don't stand here ability. Either the enemy moves out of the area and mess up their positioning, or they stay in the aoe and take a pure damage nuke and get silenced for 3-6 seconds. If your team can follow it up with stuns or roots or slows, then even better.

Thirst is not all-or-nothing now, which is probably better. Rupture got nerfed, but I think it's a reasonable trade off for the rest of the changes. Plus, you kinda still have guaranteed damage if you Rupture then Blood Rite them. Either they stand still and take the Blood Rite nuke (which is significant) or they run out of the aoe and take Rupture damage. Or they TP away, but they could do that pre-6.82 anyways. Plus, 12 seconds is a long time...

Okay case study time!

I've math'd the new networth changes onto the endstate of a game I just played. Someone correct me if I've done it wrong. It's a little crazy, to me. We're at a 26.5k networth difference.

= 0

Gold for 5-man kills
WK = 10 + 4 * 25 + 0.134 * 28700 * 0.15
= 110 + 576.87
= 687 per hero
Weaver = 10 + 4 * 25 + 0 * 25900 * 0.15
= 110



Provided I haven't screwed something up, that's.... that's pretty insane. The losing team can trade 5 for 1-2 and come out even. At the very least, I feel the magic 30k rule is completely dead. Also notable is how valuable the dire supports are.

However, at that net worth difference the immediate consequence of losing more than three heroes for fewer than three heroes is almost certainly going to be a lane being eaten, at minimum. Buybacks if available would almost certainly have to be spent.
