He is squishy, die fast. Also diffu is godlike on him. Plus no one plan 80+ mins games anymore.

I think that works with heroes that can generate like 2-6 illusions with manta. But radiance burn doesn't stack with illusions, while diffusal does per illusion hitting shit. So because PL can generate a ton of illusions, it gives him more raw combat output.
Plus it makes him made of glass and he doesn't have song to bug the fuck out of a bad fight.

If you look at things that build radiance and it’s a good idea, it’s is a fish lady that has a song that allows her to leave combat and a bear with a millions HP. PL is squirrelly for sure and hard to take down with one hero, but he still gets rocked by dust.
Also, side note, a friend was totally in love with the idea that the main plan with Lone Druid was to summons a bear and light it on fire to allow it to burn people. Not since Red Alert 3 has there been such good use of bears in combat.

I don't think he is out of anything. He has his own merits and weaknesses. Just need a drafter to make it work.

Another thing is that you passively burn creeps while your illusions have low attack speed until next item or two so they have limited chance to hit things which results into lower number of juxtapose procs.

Well he has absurd agility gain, as long as you get levels in timely manner, that is the least of his problems.

Uhm i usually get another heart xD just to plainly annoy the enemy and sometimes enemies in pubs aren't exactly bright and knows how to hunt rats.

They never draft him in progames tho. His biggest weakness seems when he doesnt have illusions up yet. Maybe if they would change the %illusionproc or the number of illusions that are formed based on how many illusions you allready have, would help him out alot and make him less of a gamble.

That would be so unbelievably terrible dude.
The burn gets weaker the longer the game goes because it doesn't scale with anything and your opponents get stronger. It's not a good dmg source in lategame teamfights, cores won't even notice it.
You could just get items that make your existing items better, by making your illusions hit harder, faster, make them live longer, make them crit or make them hit on targets that evade stuff.

I don't think PL with a radiance can cancel blinks that stay 1.5 screen away.
It is good for chasing but I don't consider radi as a chasing item.
