windowed borderless

Was wondering about a quick question. If you get in do you get any extra keys for your friends? I thought I had heard that you did, but my friend just got in and he can't find any.

Does it occur after you exit the program or after disconnecting from a match?

Whatever TDL is having it's a problem for me as well (windowed borderless). Client will occasionally crash in-game and take down Steam with it. Steam restarts fine and so does the client, but then the game goes unresponsive as I try to either watch or rejoin a game.

Am I the only one who gets random hiccups? Like, I run this game at 60 FPS no problem -- but just randomly the entire game will freeze up for ~5 seconds and then continue on. It's not even frequent, but it happens at least once per game.

Its not unusual at all, happens all the time to absolutely everyone.

game is so interesting! coming from LoL, the shop is really complicated but itll take time i guess. Im not use to denying and last hitting is harder here.

Wait, did they change it or am I getting conflicting keybinds. When I was playing on my friends account, I could spam A + right click and S on top of a mob and it would constantly start and stop the attack animation until I needed it. It no longer is working for me. Is that just me fucking up in some manner, or did they patch something?

Auto-attack in game settings. And the hiccups are likely video card related, so report them on the dota2 feedback forums so it can get fixed. I haven't experienced hiccups at all.

i've been getting hiccups since i first started playing yesterday. thought it might've been settings too high, turned them down, no change. already reported it on forums.
also, is it just me or is kunkka's water spout thing really hard to see...

Keep in mind you only see the bubbles marking allied Torrent casts. Enemy Torrent casts don't get revealed to you.

And in the topper right corner there is in red letters: "Warning: Connection Problem" and Heroes feet are moving but don't go anywhere for a few secs every game? Yes, I have this for no reason. I had to play over my mobile phone internet and these hiccups were gone. Strange, because the usual internet never lagged for me in other games.

This is really random, but shouldn't auto-attacking be disabled by default? Had a game "ruined" yesterday because a first timer was just running around auto-attacking creeps, because, to be honest, telling your hero to "stop" is not explained at all. This resulted in me killing him 3 times in the first 10 minutes as AM without even trying. I told him to stop....and he didn't even know how to do that, or why he shouldn't be auto-attacking. Compared to HoN, there isn't even the most basic of tutorials to go through before entering a game....kind of wierd, tbh. Someone who's never played a game like DotA before.....playing Dota 2...vs people that in all likelihood have been played HoN/LoL/Dota before is just ugly, and no fun for anyone.

Its only the beta, I assume hopefully when the real game comes out there is some form of tutorial for first timers.
Anyway on another topic does anyone miss being able to see really visible aruas and stuff? Like I find it hard to see if someone is using medallion of courage in a fight and well I just miss seeing vamp and ac auras and stuff .
