The average gold per minute he gets from the jungle creeps when farming in that way is 633.4 if you count in the 70 gold per minute that you get automatically over time
This is irrelevant cause at this point you should be killing shit and joining fights, not keep ricing
take a slight advantage and turn it into an insurmountable one ovie if your team NEEDS you then yeah otherwise get a 8 minute bfly / heart / manta of your choice (thats what tps are for)

Who's talking about having an advantage ? If it's a balanced game the other carry is gonna have similar farm, the only difference is that AM is stronger than most of carries at this point because of mana burn and his inner survivability, so that's when you start making moves to actually get an advantage.
People who think Magina is that kind of unstoppable carry late game are just completely wrong, he's still gonna be strong, but there are lots of carries way more dangerous than him if past midgame if Magina's team didn't take a huge advantage. All he needs to start being really dangerous is vanguard / PT.

He's not some unstoppable lategame carry, but he farms faster than any other carry with the set item build, Going Vanguard + PT is a completely different style of AM than Bfury+Farm, one relies on outfarming the other team while the other relies on using the high combat potential granted by those items to gain an advantage
that is to say If u went vanguard/pt into more small items, the its obvious that u need to gank and pressure and gain an advantage midgame because you farm slowly and your items dont scale nearly as well as standard carry items Conversely, if u have a bfury, your farm ability because insane but your actual combat potential isn't nearly as good as say vanguard + yasha/manta or something, which would lead to a situation where safely farming is preferable to fighting so you can completely outfarm the other team
they're both valid ways to play AM, the fact that they both exist is a very large reason as to why AM is a good hard carry, because u can play him as either that ridiculous rice to victory hero or a strong combat hero midgame
Did manta get buffed or something? I remember getting manta early was really dumb when I played since you needed another stat item first or else you just don't do dmg. (e.g. diffusal + manta on agi carries)
That's kind of sad, especially since I know a few people who signed up/opted in, who are mildly interested. I'll probably get one of their keys if they get it though.
Just played a game with Spectre, went 0-5 at the start, team scores 3-22, our team had a 0-14-0 lanaya as well. We had a veno and ES so we turtled and dragged the game until 50min, at 50min I almost 1v5d them and then we won despite having a third of their kills. ^_^
Specter is the new Beastmaster. Damn near impossible to win against a good team with that hero. Have an on time VG? You're safe for the next 10 mins unless they 5 man you. Did they 5 man you? Dagger into the forest and TP out. Did your team come to help? Haunt back into the fight. Do they have glass supports? +X assists and kills per team fight.
Yes, I don't like the concept of the hero, in any fucking iteration. No other hero just says flat out I win harder than it does and no other hero has it's stupidly good everything.

In an effort to increase my overall skills playing hardcarries, I've spent 2 days playing 1v0 games doing nothing but lasthitting without quelling blade. Yes, my training methods are awesome.
I feel a bit embarrased to say I were at the event (standby team t_t) and seeing him plenty of times without knowing who he was. I guess it was common among the players to only know the staff people by the name on their shirts. Saw Gabe Newell a few times as well, but atleast I know who he is! Nice interview, although nothing real new or particular interesting.

I have a question about that actually? Is quelling blade the newbie weapon? I've been playing on dotacash and see lots of ppl in my -ap games getting the thing. I'm guessing since you're 'training' w/o using it then it's a crutch that is not used at high levels of play.
