But what I see now is dota with with better graphics. NOTHING NEW!(except some names like radiant...) I am not trying to bash dota 2 but IMO it will fail hard , because most of the people who play the game have wooden pcs (yes they really have) also dota is extremely popular in the pirate heaven countries.(China, Turkey...) Even if it becomes a f2p game it will cause valve to gain less money , and cause it to lose its support. Tere will be hacks as hell if it gets f2p. BUT! Blizzard should learn something from valve and act that way . Starcraft 2 also has superior graphics(IMO), if blizzard does good stuff they will remain on top of the esports scene. | ||

The pro scene will completely shift over but may try and play both. Imagine if the first sc2 tournament had a prize pool 25x bigger than any of the bw prize pools how many people would have practiced sc2, now imagine if it was just a reskin. Sales will be great just based on na+eu numbers alone and you would be surprised on how old a machine can run it based on the specs they gave(and you can always run it at lower specs and just not get 30-40 fps especially if you cut down on how much usage windows takes). By time it comes out computers almost a decade old will be able to run it, and normally leading up to and after release they optimize it even better. Tldr if there is a division it will actually be the exact opposite of how bw sc2 happened and be the whole pro scene that switches over. | ||
