Maybe you disconnected briefly and one of your teammates was using your hero. Sometimes it doesn't unshare control upon reconnect. What did the hero actually do though?

Happened to me yesterday, I think it's just lag. I reconnected to the game and it went away.

This is why MMR reset sucks... picking carry, team line up sucks, still 700 GPM 800 EPM and win ez =_=...

i think i need like 10 games like this before get back to where i were...

I wont speak on the matter if reset is a definite truth but I will just say this; my games have been at least much more random. I had one match where everyone was to a degree much better than I was, to the point where it was probably the most difficult game I have played. Than another game there were brand new players as well.

I have had a more difficult time but it is getting better. It feels different at least, but I would not be able to make any assumptions on that alone.

the mmr reset is just really painful... you either gona pick carry, or look at ur noob team pick 4 carries and forced to pick support

It is the fact that mmr got reset howerver, you can just look at the Epm or GPM of the winning team and tell. Also the number of wards, sentries they buy etc.... right now in my pub games those had been highly reduced compare to pre Feb 14th. A windrunner simply missing all her shackle shots, sniper 1st pick etc... painful to play. last night i even got a premade team where mirana dont even know how to arrow and she used it to farm creeps ~_~

So who is the better pubstomping hero in your opinion, N'aix or Dragon Knight? I started dota 2 with a record of 32-16 and now I'm sitting at a pretty 74-73. I really liked where my MMR is at but resets always scare me. Last nights games were definitely different than the previous couple days for certain. The skill level between all the players in the game was vastly different. To the point where I was against a player I know for a fact is vastly superior to me. She was also queuing with 2 other comrades. It just so happened her teammates were the absolute most terrible players I have seen recently so my friend and I won the game handily. My personal experience is pointing me towards the theory that there was an MMR reset. I'll see if I can back it up with any more anecdotal evidence after todays games.

Before any sort of "reset" I played against Dendi, twice. I'd still get games against scrubs too. Seemed completely random. And yeah, he kicked the hell out of us lol.

ursa, BS solo mid, huskar, BH... the rest are situational. Some good ganker such as QoP or Tiny if you have a good line up. Support is mainly venom, furion and VS.

I picked naix to counter the chen 1st pick thats all.

edit:
FOUND OUT SHIFT+LEFT CLICK put items in quick buy slot. Make things much faster than dragging shit.

Naix is far superior as a pubstomper in my opinion, you can pretty much safely jungle and get a midas quickly, all you need is a competent solo short laner(which can be hard to find), however neither of these picks are excellent pubstompers.

But really, play with friends.

I like to play with friends but I generally play more games/day then they do. I always hesitate to join MM groupds in the TL channel because I am scared of how noobie other people will find me. So far I haven't had any bad games with premades but it makes me nervous.

I can see BS and ursa as uber pub stomp. I always see BS going 20-4 or something ridiculous. I guess people don't know you can just TP out of rupture.

are they a big deal? i have played with FIRE, Water, EGG etc... but have no clue how big they are bc the NA dota scene is almost non existence. Got them while i matched with sponsored players though so they must be at a certain level heh? ~_~

Team Fire = really good.

They won the Infused Cup a couple of weeks ago, defeating Absolute Legends (another top tier team, one of the finest).
They beat AL again in The Premiere League just recently as well. Also currently in the top4 in another tournament (Dota2Replays Brawl, or something like that)

They're just generally in really good form right now, considered one of the top teams in the world atm.

Team Fire is like this team that wasn't high tier in Dota 1 I believe, now in Dota 2 they have gone a sick win record or something, they are really good now.

Their current record is 19-1 i believe. They've been tearing up the competition in everything they play in. Theyre also the team that brought Darkseer into popularity.

if you never reach high level MMR ofc u cant tell bc u gona stay the same... im from being matched with EG dignitas etc... to some BR invoker going max E and afk fountain... I also asked most of my friends who on the same elo as mine and they confirmed being matched with horrible players after 14th.
