Try SEA, I see a lot of people from China there so the ping shouldn't be too high, and it should be faster too.

Just had to play Sand King with broken graphics (everything green, 70% of time screen is entirely black besides health bars) along with about a 1500ms Ping. Randomed into a group of 4 pre-made, which was amazing since they were so nice and worked together so well. Managed to rack up 3 triple kills by sheer luck, and went 9-9-26. Never playing on this computer again.

Ya i "know how" to play him, just never have before. I did ok, but just like every other game I've played today the other team is doing level 1 rosh and nobody wants to fucking help defend it. Even after we stop them, put up wards, and watch them walk in 1 min later, no one will come. Thats 3 games in a row with lvl 1 rosh's. And hte last one my rl friend i was playing with fed 6 kills in the first 8 mins as prophet... super fun time!
Also, i may be retarded, but is there a way to invoke a spell into my "F" slot instead of the "D" one, so if i want emp/tornado, and my emp is already in the F i dont have to invoke twice? Is it just different combinations?

Oh yeah I mean, I kind of know you know =P I'm just saying that if you're just starting out with Invoker that's the best way to play, there's no sense in my opinion to start messing with the more complicated stuff as that works kind of fine(in comparison to getting confused with all the skills and accomplishing nothing that is)
And yeah whenever I premade in either DotA or HoN it's always lvl 1 rosh, freewin as no one is good enough to stop it even if you go like Enigma Ursa Prophet Lich Beastmaster. "OMG WHAT DEY GUNNA DO?"

Lol also doens't help when your teams first 3 picks are Pudge, void, and prophet, so the last 2 guys pick storm spirit and AM.... makes for such good laning.

ok seriously, how do you fucking lane vs a windrunner? I am so lost right now ~_~... her dmg and animation are pretty much perfect for last hitting and her 3rd skill just make her unkillable. She doesnt even need items mid game so if she dual lane with some carry she could just switch to baby siting without losing much mid game.
She reminds me of Clock or kunkka when they first came out: multiple usage and imbalance. Unless you stack up 2 stuns or more, there is no way you could kill a decent windrunner and thats a huge commitment in the end of early game phase.
If anyone know how to shut her down early on please do tell otherwise im just gona pick her every time in pub now ~_~

There are a lot of lanes that work against WR. The real consideration is your entire lineup so your other lanes do fine.
A number of heroes can solo against her (plus they have the advantage of short lane). A common one is Nature's Prophet. You can also have dual lanes that work well. A dual lane of carry + Venomancer is good. For example, Slardar + Veno. A jungling hero next to safe lane (chen, enchantress, enigma) can help gank her as well.
Again, if you're focusing on just shutting down WR you need to make sure you don't throw the other lanes, because their carry is probably farming. You usually let WR get a bit of farm+xp in exchange for aiding other lanes.

Windrunner is great in that she can survive against a lot of other lane combinations but she's not great in a 1v1 situation. In a 2 on 2 situation where Windrunner isn't acting as the primary farmer trade hits with her if you can. Windrunner has really low starting armour (1.4) so your attacks will hurt quite a bit.
Windrunner also has mana conservation issues. Low cooldown skills may entice you to use them often, but her mana pool isn't that great since her intelligence gain is slightly less than average for an intelligence hero.
Stacking slows is also extremely effective against Windrunner. You oftentimes don't get more than one level of the Windrunner ability (max Powershot and Shackleshot instead) so if you can keep her slowed during the duration of her Windrunner ability, she's toast.

So I was on a 9 game winning streak... and now Im closing in on a 9 game losing streak, what a shitty day of dota Last game of the night actually got pretty crazy. I randomed Necrolyte and we fell so far behind to some Ursa just raping everyone(this happens like 80% of my games). We eventually pulled it back due to me being a total boss(not bragging totally true). The game went on for like an hour and a half, with us defending against mega creeps for like 20 mins and still almost pulled out the win. Rapiers were switching hands everywhere and shit, but we kept winning teamfights, until our bounty hunter suicided for like the 10th time by being out in the middle of nowhere and chasing people, and finally lost Was definitely a roller coaster ride though!

Necrolyte is definitely one of my favorite heroes in dota2.
Edit: Also the fact that doombringers ult goes through BKB is so stupid....

There was a recent chinese game where windrunner didn't get shackleshot until level 8 or 9, in a solo lane.

Fun game yesterday:
I was solo bottom as Tiny really wondering why the fuck mid never comes to help/gank (1on2 lane, I did not too bad.. Died twice iirc when they HC towerdived)...
End of the game I watch the lasthit/denie stats:
Invoker (mid) --> 40 denies and a decent amount of lasthits (a bit less than our Venge (babysitted by Necro) and Chen (woods).
After that I also knew why their prophet was so pissed :D.
That seriously was in general the best game i had since i don't know how long.. No one in the entire game was terrible.. It felt really nice for a change ^^.
