Janggo/Yasha also build from small, easy-to-build components, so the two potential advantages of cheap items (cost-effective, gets you to fights quickly) do not favor Lothar's at all in this comparison. No, Lothar's does not give more damage. Janggo + Yasha gives 25 Agility + 9 damage, but Trueshot Aura multiplies Agility based damage and not plain damage, meaning that if you have 2nd rank or higher of Trueshot Aura, Janggo + Yasha gives more damage. This is not even considering the fact that Janggo + Yasha also gives +45% IAS passively, plus another 10 actively, when Lothar's gives a measly 10%. Janggo + Yasha gives 15% MS passively, and another +10% actively. That's more than Lothar's in all scenarios. The escape is unreliable. You're gambling on the fact that not 1 of the 5 people on the enemy team will buy dust for you. In the average case, having more HP/armor/movespeed from Janggo + Yasha is more likely to get you out alive. While HotD/Manta based builds are indeed safer and more stable, Janggo + Yasha is more directly comparable to Lothar's in pub games, because it builds from small components that come together quickly and get you into fights immediately. You get an abandon if you go afk for 5 minutes (if your character doesn't perform any actions - so talking does not count). | ||
