Some kind of kuro/puppey/misery/pajkatt +1 lineup sounds really attractive to me though. Probably have to be an EU +1 though and I'm not sure who would be available and good (preferably an offlaner?). I was working on the assumption that the +1 wouldn't be CIS due to language but that could be wrong. This is only if those 2 leave na'vi which I don't want but that seems to be what people are saying will happen. In NA, I mostly care about Fear, Korok and Aui_2000. Not sure how they could ever be on a team together though so I'll be stuck not knowing who to cheer for. Some kind of insane Goblak/Silent/Scandal/BYB/LoH lineup still makes me drool. Ars-Art/Artstyle/G all are (to me) of similar calibre so I hope any 5 of those 8 get together. I'm less interested in NS though I've heard his name a LOT (and it looks like him and Ars-Art are joined at the hip for now). I actually really like the 4-german core of mouz right now but it sounds a lot like that will be shaken up too ![]() KP/QPAD remain too messed up for me to really have any good ideas, though I still wish success to envy and sing (and RTZ but he's in school).

All the (english speaking) fans disagree but what does XBOCT care about that? And what do we know about the team's internal discussions and chemistry? (admittedly it can't be that bad if they got 2nd again ![]()

As I said, there is too much at stake to leave. NaVI is the most stable and well organised gaming company there is, idk how stupid can u be to leave all of that. Professional sports have personal changing all the time. People should really find some other scapegoat than "in order to become legit!". It's pretty old, lame and untrue.

If we want it to be more like "real sports" we should fully embrace having a " super bowl" followed by an off seasons where players are traded around. In fact it is just fanboyism to want to want teams to never change their roster. Dont disguise it as "for esports navi should remain the same."

It's pretty old, lame and untrue. Still a big difference between the two though. Professional sports with teams generally have teams with 20 people or more. All the trades and free agents are generally made without disturbing your core lineup, something which Dota 2 primarily consists of. There is no esports team with team A and team B and team C so that they can freely move people around. Losing a single person is like losing a key part of the team. There also aren't any draft/free agent set periods because there are no standards. Additionally there are no recruiting periods or draft periods, nor are there collegiate or AAA leagues that Dota can recruit from to replace those who have failed. What you end up with is a super volitile Esports scene where it's harder to keep a fan base or form a storyline. While its cool that suddenly many teams can become relevant again after being brushed off by their TI3 performance, deep down the mainstream really just want to see their favorites win rather than interesting games.
