aside from bat, the others all use the attack stats from phase, so no they wouldnt build tranqs. might be appealing to doom because of his horrid armour though, but even then id still run around in phase boots and go for an ac/rely on teammates for armour auras

yeah new tranquils just look so unappealing to most heroes because they are disabled even when you attack YOURSELF

Icefrog just officially made tranq boots to step down from the choice for carry heroes, or it would be a situational transition item for some carry heroes who can use it temporary (when you could use that regen/heal and you dont have the farming power yet).

I think overall it is meant to compliment the faster pacing so the #3-5 heroes can get it for the ms (and the heal/armor of course).
is 2017, stop being lame, fuck's sakes. 'Can't wait for the rise of the cakes and humanity's last stand tbqh.'

The big difference is that you can't dominate lane quite as reliably, and have a hell of a lot resting on your Aura procs. I really, REALLY hope that the item proc nerf sends him straight into obscurity, but I doubt it'll be the case.

I'm sure it's been talked about somewhere on this thread, but...is the Veil of Discord change enough to make it a common midgame item like Drums or Aquila?

I havent heard anyone about the molnjir upgrade. If fitted on windrunner in focusfire for example.. seems yummy

Severely doubt it. It's still ridiculously expensive. Aquila costs less than 1k gold and is amazing for agility carries that won't be replacing it too soon and can make good use of the mana. Drums are less than 2k, and are both a fantastic stats item and a core component to most racecar builds. Veil costs over 2.5k gold, give you shit for stats, and provide a single support utility that falls off the second the enemy carry purchases BKB. I think maiden could work also. Its cheaper item then septer and gives 5% more ultidamageoutput, pretty damage/cost efficient. If u ever get a septer, then u could take this armour after. Or, if ur team wants to push earlier, get this veil first because u will not have enough for septer. If an enemy pops a bkb because maiden does her ultimate in a 2v2 or something like that, u should smile because they lost alot of gold and magic inuminty right there. A lvl9/10 bkb charge is like the daimondgold. Right?

I see the veil more as a drums for inthero's with a nice damageultimate (scorpion/maiden etc). Gives them basically everything they need at lower cost then a septer.

Yeah because of the Tranqs change, you can't split farm the jungle (lanes too) efficiently and effectively anymore.

That earlier Meepo clone is to help for laning phase early, but it doesn't offset his indirect nerf. That means you'll have to get your farm from a lane, which isn't great either because you're not getting the added XP.

CM would need a BkB or force or blink much more. It's Zeus, Sand King, Jakiro and maybe Lion/Lina.

why even have broken tranquils in this iteration? if there's no active i really don't see the point. also, how do you replace them? i used to use them on spectre for map sustain. (if there aren't any safe lanes hit jungle creeps). i honestly think they were fair with the last nerf, good farming item, bad fighting item. they seem really convoluted and bad now.

they aren't even good on those supports though... what good is 10hp regen for you? and how often do you spend 13 seconds not attacking? i never liked even pre nerf tranquils on those heroes since you need hp so badly as a support. treads are better in every way imo

Tranqs are cheaper and give better movespeed which is really good for the toaming supports. Does casting a skill break the new tranqs?

Go for kills. This patch isn't about farming, it's about being more aggressive. With level four double meepo you can get kills before your opponents even have ult. Every carry's farming capabilities have been nerfed but with his ult he gets a early ganking capabilities.

you can't see them with sentries on the map now (e.g. they can smoke into rosh and sentries won't let you see it)
