Treant Protector - Leech Seed damage per pulse reduced from 30/45/60/75 to 24/36/48/60 - Leech Seed number of pulses increased from 4 to 6 (duration from 3 to 4.5) - Living Armor cooldown rebalanced from 15 to 32/26/20/14 - Living Armor manacost increased from 25 to 50 - Nature's Guise cast point improved from 0.5 to 0.3 4.5 seconds of 28% slow, in addition to dealing 20% more total damage, makes Leech Seed a serious killing spell. It's expensive and short-ranged, but a strong chasing nuke from first level. (144 magic damage and the target loses 1.26 seconds worth of movement, in addition to the heal effect.) Gives Treant Protector a little more offensive muscle, and makes first level Leech Seed a lot more effective. Treant Protector used to be pretty wretched at supporting in-lane and preferred to haunt the pull stack. But now he can more credibly join in to get a kill.
Nature's Guise could use a little love. Having it trigger 0.2 seconds faster is not big, but it helps.
...and low-level Living Armor got nerfed into the ground. Level 3-4 are still awesome, but the scaling is obnoxiously top-heavy. Normally, the fourth level of an ability is at most four times as good as the first level, and you hope for it to be less than four times as good so there's an incentive to invest one point without going up to four, allowing variety in builds. But fourth level not only blocks up to 560 damage as opposed to 80 for first, it also has a much lower cooldown without a higher mana cost. What the heck.

Aaaalso i wonder if people will try to (probably in pubs i guess) go for 4-protect-1 with the 4 grabbing linkens for the 1 :D Unless there is a personal cd

as a carry player my self if i see team fight and i CANT GUARANTEE 100% win for my team i simply back off why? for example i fight, me and my team gets their carry hero and i see buy back from him I IMMEDIATELY GET OUT. He just used around 1k (given its around 20 mins into the game) gold and HE CANT FARM and I can. From my pov it is worth to BKB in the middle of the map and tp out since with 1 wasted buy back you losse at least 2k gold AND your next death will be that much longer.
also due to overall MS nerf diving is A LOT more risky and game rewards a lot more safe play. The only team fight favoring thing is night time but its more for ganking than team fights and since YOU CANT pool reg any more, wards last longer, you get more gold while doing nothing AND pulling is not even worth trying dua/trilanes mid might be common thing.
to put it simplest i can game rewards safe play or NS crazy dives with armor from tranq (ROFL DAT BUFF) or perfect pinpoited actions and punishes HARD for any mistake during team fights or dives.

I really can't see visage falling off from competative play at all. With the jungle nerfs, lane-ing strength becomes a lot more important. Given how strong visage is in that regard (in addition to his great mid-late game), I can't see him becoming any less popular.

Naw visage is gone lol. Insanely vulnerable to early game burst, Doesn't bring disable to 2v2 lanes which is therefore too restrictive on who he can lane with, and not enough damage either since you lack the damage sources in 2v2s to get more than maybe one decent soul assumption off. Birds are still broke but lanes are becoming too important and visage isn't good enough anymore IMO.

Preceding the stage when buybacks have any major difference from 6.78 (24 seconds of no unreliable is negligible when the only use is to contribute more to a team-fight, and 5 extra seconds on your next death isn't too significant), the game is FAR more aggressive now, as the iron-wall defensive trilane is no longer viable, and roaming supports is FAR more enticing than it used to be. Supports set the pace of the early game, and now the supports can't spend the early game farming the jungle; as well as having cheap boots that give a huge m/s boost, regen, and armor boost. Added to that, the offlane creep placement makes pushing the offlane HIGHLY favorable for both sides, so heavy push, offlane heavy lineups are going to be far more common than previously, where anything besides a passive/harassing offlaner was considered a fairly "all in" strategy.
Lategame yes, buying back is a LOT less viable than it previously was, which personally is a good thing, more item progression is always fun to see in games (purely opinion).
supports are now all chain-smokers (cancer-lancer got nothing on that)

Because of the new lane equilibrium, technically "offlane" isn't as suicide as it used to anymore.

Lower MS make diving better, not worse, because you don't actually have to dive past fucking T3 as a nightstalker but you'll probably be able to kill your target under the T1 now. Higher MS make diving impossible because you can retreat so fast that even if the differential is the same, the final positioning is too risky for your enemy to actually dive.
