wow .. alchemist and abaddon change are painful
sprint without mana cost for slardar is awesome .. looks like icefrog wants to insert slardar into the meta game


i love the venge and pudge that can use dagger .. games can now be really creative with those two

Im pretty sure it means that theyll perform a backswing after casting their spells, as opposed to before where they would immediately break off after their cast animation without any forced commands.

You never noticed how fluid Veno felt after you casted Gale? Same with Batrider and his Flamebreak. Thinking about it now, I noticed it with VS too. I couldnt really tell this bug with Clock since he just kinda stays in his Cogs lol.

Even if you don't get an early kill, you make their supports have to stick around and pop regen on their laners, or even force them to have to go back to the fountain early; this alone can win you lanes and set the tempo going into the later parts of the game.

Roshan became too predictable. He became a mandatory extra sweetener for the dominant team, rather than a possible game changer for the losing team.

This should change it up a bit.

You forgot to mention the golems nerf!! Yeah kill those trash magic resist shit even faster! And they can't spawn 2 times in a row! Alleluia!

I think I like HoN's take on buybacks better, where you only get two over the course of the game. Helps put an upper limit to the length of stallfests, and makes buying back costly even if you get your team enough gold to justify the price tag. Buying back in that game has to be done to gain (or save) an important objective. This patch's change is too artificial.

The jungle shoud just be made to work like LoL's does already. All this fiddling around with rules is trying to cover up a broken machine with enough duct tape to make a casual observer fail to see the fundamental failings, without addressing the obvious core issues. The attachment to the arcane gameplay mechanics that were born of lazy programming is baffling to me.

I like the Shadowblade change; makes little to no difference when ganking, but a pretty noticeable difference when trying to run away.

As for Yasha, I think the game has enough mobility creep as is without buffing the movement speed bonuses on items.

I like how artificial no-blink-on-this-hero restrictions are being removed, but I think there's probably a smoother, less likely to be abused alternative to the problem of heroes being stuck than a 5 second walk-through-walls. Could it be made so that, if the game detects you're stuck on a cliff, you can always walk downhill?

The melee/ranged rax changes seem like changes for changes' sake.

That's Dota 1 only, and as far as we can tell there's no Dota 1 version of this patch.

For roamers. It disables on attack for 13 seconds.

I wonder does that apply only for enemy heroes or creeps, too?

How is it gonna make games more creative? Pudge can now just blink onto people and dismember eithout having to hit a hook or worry about positioning (gl playing support in pub games vs pudge). Vengeful will still probably prefer force staff
