i think dota will go back to dual lanes with the neutral xp changes. Clearly they are trying to speed up the pace of the game with the increased gold, quicker night/day interchange etc etc. Dota's selling out to be more viewer friendly.

Whoop de doo, in a week everyone will be used to the patch.

The patch is pretty good FYI.

Destroys the stupid trilane/offlane puylling/stacking dynamic which is incredibly unfun, supports have gold again, Roshan is no longer killed by the dominating team the very second he spawns.

Good stuff there Icefrog.

His max is somewhere around 1200

Da fuk... So many changes....:O

The general changes are actually huge. As everyone else said: good bye trilanes. Although it'd be nice to get a balance between the 3-1-1 and duo lanes, but can't really see how it'll work.

Sounds pretty exciting though, can't wait for the changes to go live and see how it'll affect the meta. The only downside I see is that it makes the game more confusing than it is for new players, introducing more per-case mechanics.

Btw, LOL'd so hard watching that BS video.

It doesn't even matter because he won't ever get to that?

For fuck's sake that's with like 16 enemy heroes spawned with the console. Did you even watch the videos or are you just looking at the big numbers and freaking out?

With 5 enemy heroes on low health he still needs MoM, S&Y, and Drums active to get to anything really ridiculous. And he's still a hero you can just TP away from.

There was this one patch a long, long time ago that introduced something called "Buyback" that had no cooldown.

There was this one patch a long, long time ago that introduced something called "Buyback" that had no cooldown.

I agree! IceFrog has always done some really crazy stuff and people freak out over it and then the majority turns out to be amazing and the minority of the changes are nerfed.

So many changes. It seems like heros with built-in roshan checking spells may become more important.

I guess the neutral XP changes are to weaken defensive tri-lanes? It seems like it will also make life way harder for dedicated junglers.

So instead Roshan will be pretty much spawning at random time? So we will get situation where you wait for roshan when it hit 8min but he doesnt spawn till 11min so you lose alot of farming time while other team farm up and you fall a bit behind. Or you get situation where you go smoke gank their jungle and roshan pop out at 8min and you are screwed because you tried to go gank and roshan spawn at the earlyest time possible.

I really hate this change probably the most because it make the game more random. An example is having random creep spawn in the jungle is rather annoying enough since some game as chen can be complete shit cause you get no good creep (mud golemz). Obviously the chances of it happening is little but when it happens, people will be rather unhappy. I think there was a game in the International 3 qualifyer where they had a doom mid against QoP and doom only chance on being relevant mid was if he was able to devour a Satyr to have the regen able to stay mid. And he actually found the satyr during the first creep spawn. The game would of been completely different if RNG was not in his favor and spawn hellbear instead. I think the roshan time was fine, dont understand at all why the change.

Feels like along with the dust buff once again Icefrog wants us to use dust more for detecting invis units. 15 seconds is more than enough to kill a ward. We can't depend on a sentry randomly finding an invis hero so IF is making us buy gem/dust more.

All in all BUY MORE DUST! :D

Why the fuck was tree nerfed again T_T He was pretty much dead weight around the time their carry got a bkb, and now he is pretty much dead weight early game too. A window of usefulness from levels 7-11 is simply unusable. "No, no, wisp/huskar/lifestealer/et are pretty much fine, we need to give the biggest nerf of the patch to the god damn tree"

this patch makes me wish that eblade->crit dagger on pa could be a thing.
