Why should your teammate get experience for a creep you killed???
(that is to say, there's no real reason besides game experience)

I refuse to believe this is true. I mean, I think at this point it probably is, but quite a few of the new hero changes just seem like head scratches to me, especially the Roshan random spawn. Still need to look through all the proposed hero changes.

Making my totally credible predictions right here, right now. Take notes, DotA fans.
Some folks get thrown into disarray over the side lane changes. People try 2/1/2s and stuff. Then they remember why trilanes are good and start doing them again. First defensive because supports start last-hitting neutrals and want guaranteed lane wins, then aggressive because that's been buffed, and then things get really crazy. That and more teams draft crazy 4-core NPBat-in-the-jungle lineups against all but the deadliest aggressive trilanes. Probs with not-NP heroes because of jungle creep bounty nerf.
Axe gets picked like 1000% more and run offlane, thus becoming a counterpick to the crazy 4-core meta I just laid out.
Bloodseeker.
Death Prophet finally gets recognition for being awesome and becomes the counter to late game carries with BKB, creating new fourth-ban DP drafting dynamic for teams looking to run 4-protect-1 strats.
Huskar gets changed again.
Lich becomes the anti-DP for his ability to give those safe lane carries some extra XP and gold (indirectly).
Luna/WR becomes the new most skillful/gimmicky pocket combo.
NoTail does Meepo poof victory ceremony after winning TI4 with said hero.
Mirana gets used even more, which is cool because she's the best hero ever.
TA gets picked 28% more to act as a Roshan-watcher. People also realize she's better now that defensive trilanes are weaker.
New DotA 2 players have recurring nightmares about Pudge appearing out of thin air right next to them while they sit in terror next to their feeble sentry wards. Some professional players begin experiencing the same thing after playing against Na'Vi.
Rubick becomes the new Rubick, which is the old Rubick only better. More specifically, Dendi is seen playing him mid again every so often.
Radiant win rates dip for a while as teams struggle to accept the Roshan change. Alliance draft Ursa every time they get Dire. This leads to some heavier disparity in drafting patterns for Radiant and Dire teams, with Radiant in particular investing more heavily in pushing and/or defensive trilanes. As a consequence, DP becomes first ban for Dire teams (see the above note on Death Prophet).

lol junglers
get rekt
real dota is played on the lane [russianmode:off]

Man is this gonna f*ck up the competitive scene. Imagine how many broken things will be discovered in crucial games, things which are only open to fixing after those games have been played and the winner has been crowned.

Are you watching the gdstudio stream right now? Holy shit BS is retarded. ROFL.

good thing the only tournament that matters, TI4, is still far away.

The pubs, Icefrog. Won't somebody think of the pubs? If anything it might make pubs easier. Instead of my allies being hooked by stupidly obvious hooks and dragged away the Pudge will now blink in for teh ultz and I can at least burst him down (or stun the ult).
I don't think it's broken, I just think it's terrible. There's already a pudge in every game and a useless pudge in every game when he's on my team. I really don't want another reason for bad players to build useless pudges.

CM is going to be an even more top teir support now guys.

I refuse to believe Bloodseeker is going to stay this way.
Disregarding balance, there's still the fact that any lag (think cross server play) is going to make insane difference, it's far too fast for human reaction to be relevant, it's impossible to observe, let alone handle in play.
That much speed seems redundant anyway.

Can't wait to see which team has to deal with this getting patched on them right before they're scheduled to play one of the many ongoing tournaments =)

its very different sharing exp with ally and sharing exp with enemy. i hope you can somehow understand that. this change will get reverted for sure.

Honestly, I kind of think this might be a reaction to the Alliance dominance. It will be awesome to see how they react to this, it'll be a true test of the team. If they can keep it up, they are hardcore the real deal.
The net effect of this patch seems like a huge nerf to defensive tri-lanes and jungling, which was a hallmark of Alliance's playstyle (although to be fair I've missed about a month of dota and haven't gotten back into it, so metas may have changed).
Furion definitely seems like he got a huge nerf from the jungling changes, his treants now give more xp and gold too. Thank fucking god, I hated that hero being so consistently picked....

seriously though I'm majorly disappointed about the nerfs to junglers. I hate fighting for CS with people who last pick carries. Nerfs to pulls are also a fairly significant nerf to safelane support/hard carry farming
The competitive meta is gonna be so different from the one now.
Also seriously wtf about that skywrath aghs. Does that mean i can put down like 6 ults in the same place or do they not stack The mana cost for the ult is gigantic tho Skywrath + OD, game was good. The ulti doesn't proc the arcane aura though. It's 0 cd. His other spells still will, though, so you could get an extra ulti out if you're lucky with procs.

It costs 800 mana, the most expensive spell in the game.
