The idle animation of barbarian is snotting, spitting and wiping his mouth... well, my barb once was cought in a loop with this animation. Every god damned second for the five - ten minutes of which I could not get to my computer or turning volume down...

I find it pretty funny that when you walk up to the final fight with diablo and your follower gets trapped and is like: "ah maaaaann im so stuck, nah i cant get out of this man no way, even though we walked through the depths of hell together to kill countless demons, this stony spike stuff is just too much.. darnit, and i wanted to fight diablo so bad!... ah well, guess you have to go alone. nonono dont try to release me, theres no time!"

Haha, him and azmodan seems to share this personality :D

I just started laughing when i saw they followed that formula. Can't be repeated enough how funny it is. I don't know who is funnier though, Azmodan or Diablo.

I must mention two more funny moments though, one is a little related.

When you come to the first sin heart in act 3 that spider S&M chick fights you for like 5 seconds. Then you destroy the hearts and she comes down and says "you will pay for this" or something similar. Why doesnt she just attack you then? I laughed both times i have done this. <3 Blizzard!

The other one, which i am sure is no secret, but is just an example of good zombie apocalypse humour, is the guy in the basement in act 1 who is taking care of his mother/wife (cant remember) who is just a skeleton.
Basicly a perfect zombie apocalypse madness/isolation joke :D

I have seen a couple of items name i laughed about to, but i didn't even consider this thread, or remembering them for that matter, Now they are all but lost in the void of forgotten laughs..

In the Caldeum Bazaar in Act 2, two kids can be seen running around with their pet rabbit. They eventually make their way to the Iron Wolf standing in the middle of the map, where he kills the rabbit with his sword, splattering blood all over the ground. The two kids then run away crying.

I quickly posted this on the Funny section of Diablo 3 in TV Tropes. A few minutes later, I check the Tearjerker section and find that someone else has posted this funny background event there.

I'm a horrible person.

No, it's funny because it says "only by defeating us can you return to your own realm." However, the fact that the hero died means that he can just rez, which means that he can return to his own realm without having defeated the shadow.
