I would upgrade in the following order: 1. 55 ring (crit chance + crit damage/attackspeed + dex/resist/min-maxdmg) 2. 62 ring (same) 3. Weapon (socketed and LoH) 4. Gloves (need crit damage in there) 5. Amulet (crit chance + crit damage + resist at least) 6. Get an offhand for dual wield (dex socket loh, dps is less important, get crit rating as well if possible) These should easily get you to 40k dps. If you were in EU I'd give you good deals with weapons. You also have low HP and could use better resists, but you are in a bind since your pieces with HP have low resist and your pieces with double high resist have no HP. I've been there, and it's really hard to find upgrades with a budget. I suggest just camping the AH especially for weapons, sort by time remaining and refresh like a mad man. | ||

I think you are at the point that you can move away from LoH towards Life Steal. You can get good deals for a socketed + crit damage + dex + lifesteal 700-800 dps weapons in the AH, I got myself one for around 600k in this AH crazyness. And yes, second ring is pretty bad. After that, swap your evasion mantra with overawe, swap transcendence with Resolve and let the magic work. If you are killing stuff comfortably, you can sell your blackthorne medal later on for an crit chance crit damage dex resist amulet. Although you are in a bind as your mainhand is pretty good and without Lifesteal, if it were me, I would sell it high after swapping transcendence as spirit regen will be unnecessary, and buy a similar one with lifesteal. | ||

FoT,SW,overawe and breath are pretty core skills though, and I don't outgear by enough to drop serenity for blind though for some real shenanigans in act 3. | ||

Interesting advice, thanks. Did they change lifesteal or what? I noticed the stat was higher, but it used to be highly reduced, was this changed? I've used overawe quite a lot lately, but I was running with friends who are much better geared than me (barbs) and I had to be in the middle of 2-3 packs often so I needed more armor. I've been using Transcendence simply because I found this Fist and I haven't been able to replace the LoH that I lost on my previous one. Feels like I'm really fragile if I don't regen at least that bit more life, but maybe Resolve is better anyway, hard to say. | ||

I am a fist + board monk atm and like how shields all got access to higher stat rolls. I'm rocking a Hallowee Barrier with 200+ dex, crit, with innate 25% block, 65 all res... and cost 1m since its crafted. Same with the fist... Cheapest 1.04 monk weapon IMO. | ||

When ure able to do act 3 inferno comfortably, you should aim to start pwning shit up fast. I made the switch recently, and ive been able to just hold left click and run through act 3 mainly. Still get killed by the occasional phasebeast pack. Your gear must be good enough to be able to do enough damage to make it worth it. I run 6% lifesteal with cyclone and conviction with overawe, with breath of heaven damage buff. The amount of AOE damage you do will be more than the LoH. Anyway just a random thing i noticed recently, Won Khim Lau unique fist weapon is pretty amazing and cheap on the AH, especially if you run FoT,cyclone combo. The 20-25% lightning skill damage boost is amazinggggggggg. I recommend you guys to try it out | ||

You can gain dps by buying an amulet (with AS/crit chance) and AS/crit chance on your gloves Your LoH weapon has low dps. If you dont have ms on your boots, try to get 200+ dex. | ||

you can also get away with replacing your amethysts with emeralds. you have more than enough hp even without them. i farm a3 with 27k hp lol | ||

Swap transcendence with resolve. | ||

my dude atm got a lot better the last 2 days as i moved away from the crappy MF gear i used months back rings are still rubbish i guess but can't do much about that with the 10k i have atm  | ||

Really wish I could find something to replace the LoH on my ouroboros. Found 2 upgrades so far that I can't afford to swap in because of the large life on hit. | ||
