What things should i be trying to snipe on the AH? I'm fine soloing on MP2 or MP3, but just slow with only 20k dps ![]() Hi, I was in a very similar situation to you just a week ago. My DPS was like 24k (which is just so low haha), but I came to this thread and got some help. I was able to easily get to 40k dps with very little effort, and of course its only going to go up from here as i get more money to buy new gear. I'm not sure how much money you have but you can make some easy adjustments with very little in your current state. First thing I notice is that you have a very low crit chance. Don't underestimate this stat, that's what I did and my DPS was super low because of it. I think getting it to ~30% is very easy to do and wouldn't cost a whole lot. Easy places to get crit are gloves (maximum of 10%) and ammys/rings. Secondly, upgrade your weapons. You can find much better weapons on the AH for no more than 1 million (most likely even less). Try to find some with dex (vit can be nice too), and even better if it has a socket or crit dmg. Just make sure that if it is a more basic weapon that it at least has decent dps. Don't be afraid to sacrafice some of that Loh too. I find that 800-100 works fine for me. Lastly, for your legs and chest, you should easily be able to find gear with similar stats (maybe slightly less) but with 2-3 sockets. It's not that expensive, and it will take you a long way. P.S. Make sure you get a good amount of dex out of your gear, it's very easy to push it aside a little here and there but it adds up. I was told you want at least about 1500 from gear. I easily have that now and my DPS is significantly better because of it. Hope it helps. I'd be glad to help out however I can =)

Barracks/Fortified Bunker, clear Battlefields from Rakkis Crossing, clear Bridge, clear all keep depths, clear everything in Arreat (towers & craters & cydea & azzie) Also, no other monk build lets you feel like Usain Bolt when you use a Fleeting Shrine.

I only have 500k right now (before I quit, I sold of all of my gold on the RMAH...oops). But I spent like 200k on a chest/legs/ring, and started using an old pair of 9% crit gloves that I had. I ended up losing around 10k hp and 100 resists to gain 10k DPS or so. Probably not a really great trade, but it was pretty cheap. Also, reading through the thread more I saw the trick about prebuffing Sweeping Winds, which upped my actual DPS a ton without actually changing the paper doll DPS. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Laggy-1503/hero/4043097 new stats. I'm currently sitting at around 45k?'ish DPS when I'm self-buffed with Blazing Wrath and Blind-Faith, with 21% crit and ~200% crit damage. I'm looking into weapons, but it looks like I probably need at least 1m to get something that's a significant enough upgrade to spend money on, so I guess I need to farm some more first. I did my first Infernal Machine with those stats tonight though. Went pretty well. I just feel much squishier. I'm sure I can get used to it, I'm just going to have to change my play style a bit. Before, I could just facetank everything except desecrate. Definitely have to be more careful now.

My guy: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Tiden-1317/hero/4123900 Edit: I figured out half the problem: I was still running Fleet Footed... switched back to Resolve. Edit 2: I looked around and pretty much every upgrade for me is a legendary or set item costing at least 20m.

Bust out your combination strike build with foresight and enjoy melting faces.I also see a lot of people going back to %life gems in their head pieces, people dont like having 25% exp on top of the exp from MP? It may just be that they now have the 35% of the hellfire ring and they don't have enough vitality. I did this and I equipped my follower with hellfire too, so it's 35% + 7% already. Not bad. Grinding keys sucks at 7 and below in my experience, and I need more life to grind MP 7 and MP 8.

Hey guys, coming back to D3 after quitting like 3months ago due to Inferno becoming a joke. Sitting at 52k hp, ~74k dps unbuffed, and 520ish all res. Trying to hit that 100k dps mark - whats the best way to approach it? Go all out and buy a perfect skorn? Or attempt to get some semi-decent Inna's (or w/e)? Any input appreciated, cheers

Any input appreciated, cheers For Para level 49 your dex is suprisingly low, try getting shoulders with around 170+, and 2piece Inna's is a godsend. Since you already have echoing and andariels, I'd say just try to get legs and chest Inna's, and at least 2.8% life steal on a weapon to complensate for the loss of LoH from your pants. Or you could go balls to the wall and buy Butchers Sickle with a good roll and just be done with weapons forever, and a Vile Ward and maybe an Ouroboros if you feel like moster power 10 is not easy enough. ![]()

That gem at full NV+MP5 is worth something like an extra 12% exp for me. Once I get a hellfire ring it'll be like 10% more exp. Relative to how much easier MP5-7 is for me when I have a life gem, I'd take the life gem while all I'm doing is farming rings, especially since my chance of dying goes down by very noticeably. When I go back to lower MP levels for just farming levels, I'll swap back to a ruby.

See if you can snipe yellow items that have high base dex but also some AR+some other res you're using. the start would probably be shoulders, boots and legs with 2 sockets, they can have high stats while not being too expencive. Once you got that covered, see if you can get 850dps weapons with crit and life steal (2.8+) or LoH, and just generally upgrade you gear as you go. EDIT: boots are fine, but you can get 200 dex from shoulders and legs.

Any advice on what I should get next? I only have 500k gold, pretty poor. I'm kind of at a loss since I can't seem to find many upgrades for the low amount of gold that I have, but I feel like my dps is really low.

Your sustain is coming from lifesteal and you use the lowest damage skill you have -_-;; -Near death experience is a hardcore skill. Almost worthless in softcore, take transcendence/resolve/fleet footed depending on what you're looking for. -MP1 act 3 is easier than in 1.04.
