Yeah it's pretty much laughable for anyone to use Energy Armor/Force Armor to say mages can "take a few hits". Without it they would be getting 1-shot just like the rest of us. | ||

you're pretty much required to run berserk with +100% damage to deal with elites anyway so i imagine as long as u aren't kiting them for minutes at a time you'll be fine | ||

Other Inferno Barbs posting in this thread have posted setups not using any of the 2 min CDs. But that's one way of getting around enrages I suppose. One thing I need to ask: what time is counted on enrage timers? Does time when you're dead count toward the enrage? | ||

Now trying a Wizard instead. So, basically 1 Week of wasted time. Barb was so fun until Hell/Inferno. Its just ridiuclous if I ask my Friendlist and DH,WD and Wizards tell me they beat Inferno with Hell Gear and 25k hp -_- | ||

I have been farming inferno act I for the last 4 days and can kill all the champion mobs that are put at me. My stats: All resistance base 565, 40k life, 11k in damage. My damage is a little low but can stand toe to toe with champion mobs and not die. | ||

This could be huge for us barbs. I think -maybe- with the current gear we might be able to solo through act 3ish. I could tank act 4 (wildly variant on revenge procs) but doable. With this damage reducer being fixed, my god we might be god like tanks. Now, for soloing this helps us as well, we can stack more strength, maybe, just maybe go d/w or 2h at times. I'm at work for another 5 hours but I'm very curious of those in game that can test the fix. tl;dr the melee 30% reduction was broken until today, it is now live. So please, tell me how it's changed your play! | ||

![]() Is there an official patch notes somewhere? Looking around, I don't see anything official. And yeah that mechanic has been posted on the Loading Screen Tooltips like "Monks and Barbarians take 30% less damage than Witch Hunters, Wizards and Demon Hunters!" | ||
