basicly i could spam diamond skin(crystal shell rune for more tank) at the rate that i wont die unless there are 2 different DoT being applied to me by elite.... pretty much spam 4 buttons like a mad man and things surrounding you are froze + nuke to death.

Why not even use the unleashed rune for explosive blast so you can spam the blast even faster as i understand your only limited by arcane power on that. It seems you don't even need to couple it with a no vit FA build as some +life on hit should give insane regeneration too probably while having more vitality might let you live through DoTs easier. The permastun makes opposing attacks pretty moot anyway it seems so only DoTs on creeps or boss effects present a problem i guess along with situations where you can't proc for some reason. +attack speed seems the best way to break characters so far. It's the best boost to DPS and leads to broken stuff as super fast spirit regeneration + mantra spam for monk and this permafreeze/skin build for wiz. I have a feeling the barb can also make a permastun build based on a super high attack speed.

Even on my level 20 or so with whatever random gear.. dual wield bashing can almost stunlock the butcher. it's amusing.

Honestly have no clue how you pulled that off or if it's just a bug. You're using magic weapon with the venom rune, right? That's the big kicker for the crits.

I've been farming Act 1 and 2 now and have pretty decent gear now with 14,5k dps so i was thinking of trying to progress some more but what do you think about my dps, still too low for act 3?

It´s a shame, I used it but did not abuse it and the protection against onehits was the useful part. I would much rather see the solution that if the 35% limit was broken, the armor would dispel meaning you would have to recast it. Since there is like a 1 second cooldown on the spell, it wouldn´t be abusable the same way, and even if it was, just prolong cd to 2 or 3 seconds. EDIT: after some further testing, I have no clue what they have done. It works, but it kind of doesn´t? If I'm hit for more than my hp I die, but when it seems to work it doesn´t limit the damage to 35% either, it takes more. When I have 13541 hp and FA active, and I am hit by a single slow missile from the bees in act 2, I get the white "absorbed text" but it still does 7168 damage, which equals to ~53% of my hp.

Will be really disappointed if they do nerf it. I wasn't playing the crit CD build because it's just boring, but the regen build is a lot of fun and actually made some fights more difficult. It was kinda ridiculous though.

Obviously this build is not particularly optimized and I didnt utilize teleport nearly as much as I thought I could. My computer lags a bit when big groups show up and so I found I was rarely using teleport for retreating. Generally I was very happy with the way this turned out at least through early nightmare (still early game I know). Passives included Blur--for survival! evocation--allowed for a lot more novas, skins, and escaping As I died at 35 ish and didnt love to many of the other passives at that time. I started with Illusionist but didnt find it particularly useful for me so I swapped it out for Astral Presence to allow a much longer use of disintigrate Some comments/pointers on that: Especially in HC I would recommend not using channeling spells as they tend to invite reckless behaviour. Instead you should use spells which allow you to keep moving and keep repositioning yourself. I think the two best safe damage spells are Hydra (use Arcane rune is good for the start, later you can switch to Venom when it becomes available) and Arcane Orb because the both dont need to be cast very often and allow you to stay mobile while having huge range. Diamond Skin is not an armour spell, so you can combine it with one of the three armour spells. Energy Armor is probably the best even before the Force Armor rune is unlocked, but once you hit that level (think it's 55) Force Armor is a must even if you don't use a low HP build (which I wouldn't recommend for HC because you'd die to dots).
