If you want to have a better survivability I would switch sharpshooter to perfectionist. It gives you a nice boost in your def skills. But it seems to me that you are too much relying on sharpshooter with your low crit chance (26,5%?! if i calculated right). So I recommend buying 2pc natalya ( chest + boots) with the 7% cc set bonus. Boots usually have high all res and 12 % movement speed which adds to your survivability. If you want to spend more money get them with vitality, high armor, max disciplin and a high dex value. You might lose some dex but the 7% cc should compensate for that. edit: and a new weapon is always a good way to increase your dmg  2 socket manticores are nice but if you buy them with a low base dmg it maybe won't increase your dmg a lot. so better check that before buying | ||

Does all mobs have significant higher resist against regular damage than against lightning? The % damage and aoe are otherwise the same. Manticore can roll with 2 sockets which makes it the ultimate best in slot for a DH. As for the 1 socket version, it turns out that a manticore with decent stats is actually less rare than a rare xbow with the same stats. Built-in %damage, aspd, crit damage and socket make it a cheaper weapon than a rare one despite the low drop rates for legendaries. It also always rolls a primary stat, mind you (to think of it, it has more than 6 affixes in total, maybe that's why it can roll a second socket). As for the sustained vs burst, when your CC is over 50% crits become common enough to be considered sustained damage. Ball lightning has much more AoE than tentacles. It also can damage monsters around corners and even monsters behind you as you fire. Damage is the same but it's utility is godlike. | ||

i need some help. -> http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Tankor-2271/hero/231385 this is me. as you can see right now im pretty glasscannony which is no problem when farming acts/keys(i melt through mp4/5) but trying to solo uber siegebreaker really kills me due to the reflects so is there any way to enhance my survivability while not sacrificing any dps that doesnt involve a 500m vile ward? i got around 100m to spare or should i just find a group that can carry me through the ubers so i can get my ring | ||

I can see why you don't want to change the rest of your equipment, but the shoulds could be 150 dex 100 vit 70 ar + physical resists. That should helb against reflect damage. Also, as your damage is so high, maybe lifeleach on your crossbow? Don't think loh is that effective as you can't stack enough. | ||

I got Inna's belt for 11 mil yesterday with 86 vit on NA server, not sure if they're similar on EU. Also lacuni's aren't very good defensively, at the moment it gives you 1% move speed and 9% attack speed. Some rare bracers with dex, vit, res all and some crit chance would probably be better. Your gear overall seems to be over emphasising crit chance, crit damage and attack speed at the cost of dex. 1.9k is not much considering 260 of it comes from dual set bonuses. For example your gloves have nice crit chance and crit damage, but the dex is not very high considering dex goes up to 300 in gloves... All that said, the boss fights are unforgiving for glass cannons as you're probably aware, and doing ubers as a group is always better since the fight doesn't reset when you happen to die, and more efficient since you share machines. | ||

Sharpshooter with over 40% critchance is just wasting a slot and faking your dps chart. I would suggest tactical advantage or perfectionist when you have more vit/res/armor. You would do good getting other bracers with dex vit res all and crit chance and vile ward for shoulders is not a bad idea (its not 500mil with the stats you already have and the more res/armor). You really need to lose a little dps for more vit and res all or spend that 100mil for the survivabillity. I suggest you start there. I only have about 120k dps (without ss) but i do have 45k life 500+ all res and 4k armor. Can farm mp4/5 with ease too. I am looking for a better bow which will boost my dps a lot (only 1250dps socket). | ||
