The patch itself wasn't the big deal for me, as it was the Devs actually trying to make their game better. So them basically going back on their word and outright killing a unique, creative build (and nerfing many Proc chances in general) essentially kills my excitement.

I'm running Bat, Gloom, SS, Prep with HA and Cluster Arrow. I'm already thinking of swapping Bat and Gloom for RoV and Vault. If I feel gloom is too valuable, I may just swap Bat for RoV. eh, seems dangerous to use though. will try it out. with nat regen one can leap indefinitely.

I have never really used it before, but with the massive damage buff I have decided to give it a try.

Unfortunately it basically begs to be used with old nats set....but you could do it with just a ton of disc EDIT: can you do a tank DH now with new vault? what is its coefficiant?

First, I don't really have much gold (200k) and I never really cleared A2 Inferno. What is an extra-cheap build and raiding target? What stats should I focus on once I start gearing up? Also I wanted to post a Screenshot of my buid/stats but i can't seem to take a screenshot in game. Where do the screenshots I take go? Thanks for all the help guys. Gear was very cheap just prior to 1.04 - but, due to 1.04, there seems to be an influx of alot of new players so the economy is in chaos at the moment. Still, my gut feeling is that gear will be relatively cheap. A good place to farm is Vault of the Assassin (where you find Kulle's blood). You start at the Blood and Sands quest (Waterlogged passage), find the VotA and reach the checkpoint. Thereafter, if you don't complete the quest, if you relogin, you'll always start at the entrance of the zone. As for stats, I can farm it at 120 AR (190 Physical Resist), 58k DPS and 27k HP. I can have better stats but I sacrifice them for magic find. You'll only need about 150-200 AR because gloom will keep you alive through anything if used proactively. I'm quite sure that you can farm the zone with about 40k DPS. My build is: Bat, Gloom, SS, Prep, with Hungering Arrow and Cluster Arrow (Loaded for Bear). Because of 1.04 I'm thinking of experimenting with Rain of Vengence (swap with Bat) and Vault (Cinder Trail).

There really isn't a "cheap build" for DH, just get generally good gear and you can try out whatever skills you want. If you are just trying to MF then running warriors rest is going to be the easiest way, especially on a 200k budget. If you wait a day or two prices will lower considerably on many items as the economy irons out with all the new stats. With 200k you can gear a quite solid general DH, or you can get a slightly less solid one with some MF who can run WR well. I geared my DH a few days ago for 130k and got 44% crit, 40k dps, 49 max disc, and 21k health, but that was with no MF. Now items have been hugely buffed in stats so it can be much better (quiver base dex went from 190max to 290max or something) Quiver: 14+ AS, High crit (max is 8.5), 8+max discipline, as much dex as you can afford on your budget Boots: Movespeed, as much dex/vit/res as you can afford Weapon: Socket and as much crit damage as you can afford, as much dex/dps as you can afford. Gloves: high crit, as much other dex/critdmg/AS as you can afford. Rings: Critdmg, as much dex/as/crit as you can afford. Belt: high Dex, as much vit res as afford Chest: high dex, max disc, as much vit res as afford Helm: 3+ crit, dex, vit as can afford. socket if you are MFing Shoulders: dex/vit Bracers: 3+ crit, dex, as much vit/res as can afford. Amulet: Crit, as much AS/critdmg/dex/vit/MF as can afford.

Either way, with that kind of budget, and if you haven't played in 6 months, then just farm the hell out of Act1. Start with Festering Woods and look for the dungeons right away for 2 guaranteed NV stacks. After those (or on the way too them, as is usually the case) find the other Elites/Goblin in the Woods. After that, go to the Cemetery and clear the Defiled Crypts. I usually skip straight to Norther Highlands after that just because Southern and Fields of Misery have shitty mob types for DH. The only reason I do Northern is because there is almost always a goblin there, and there is a chance of getting a Watchtower spawn, which typically has a ton of elites. After Highlands, continue on to Leoric's Manor and then the Halls of Agony/Cursed Hold. Ideally, you started at the Cursed Hold quest so that you can kill the Warden for a full-loot, but easy-kill elite. After him, kill the Butcher and then repeat from the start as many times as you feel like. I recommend not IDing your rares until the end of the round. The key to making money from farming is streamlining your method, and IDing everything at the same time means less time spent at the Blacksmith/Vendor (depending on whether you prefer to salvage your junk drops or vendor them). Not to mention, your Town Portal trips will be super fast if all you have to do is drop your rares into your stash, offload your blues to the Blacksmith/Vendor, Repair, and then go back. I'm usually back to killing stuff in under a minute.

There's my account. I have 500k budget now to work with. What would you guys recommend me focusing on gear-wise? I'm probably just going to be running A1 for a while then working on Vault runs in A2. I'm not really skilled enough yet with AH use lately to know what items I find are worth, so I've just been vending them all unless they seem obviously awesome. Maybe improving my skillset by starting a new char would be a good way to relearn what is valuable. Or maybe shopping might teach me some stuff. Let me know what you think I should do.

I would consider windforce for main weapon. chance to roll 50% of knockback on hit which is insane. Tyrael's might has bonus damage to elites and can sub for inquisitor if you don't care about the potential discipline or skill property or aren't going for set bonus. tasker and theo is pretty bad. the witching hour is just insane. if only it had a guaranteed dex roll. for the boots, natalya's if you're going for set bonus, otherwise just rare. Stone of Jordan has potential to be a very good ring. up to 30% bonus against elites is insane and you can roll DH skill damage bonuses as well. and dead man's legacy is like a no brainer considering they buffed the shit out of it.

Sob3k posted a pretty good guide in the GD thread about budget gearing. It's in the last couple pages. Check that out. Shopping will def help you get a feel for what items are worth. What I do is stash everything I think might be good (good combos of stats/ high rolls) and then search for like +- 10 of each stat and see what they are going for. If its a fair amount (this varies based on how much your auction slots are worth) then I undercut the market by 5-10% and list it. If not. I vendor in my next game. Pretty simple.
