you just pass , you don't battle there. expo layout is okay amoroso looks 2x bigger than enigma. huge open middle, even tight paths are large? expo layout too safe for zergs compared to the map size. really, REALLY hard time for terran in zvt biohasard (wtf so ugly for a kor map)it LOOKS like there is a tiny passage from the nat to the central third, i can't see a zerg break this expo without broodlords. and against zerg, you can annoy him with tanks and colo and probably drops on that pod. i hope you can't land units on nat cliff, it would be so retarded if you can because you would stop any aggression directly from opponent's base protoss and terran will never try to go through the middle since he has so many tight tight paths. I don't like this map at all crossfire: i never liked it, double sized ramp (srsly stop this shit), i don't see any danger from the "backdoor" which is on the front. awful nat placement. the paths tooooo choked and tight, expo layout is okay the best map imo is aiur garden and i don't like it very much, it is just okay. as a zerg player i obviously play on amoroso all day since it's nearly freewin on any matchup | ||

While I am all for the new maps since they rock; basically the entire success of these new maps will depend on Blizzard's reaction. If they sync their map pool in some way, like say diamond and master league players play on GSL maps everyone else plays on crappy maps, then it will be smooth sailing. If not, then shit could get ugly. | ||

I don't like this map at all Just played it and it seemes pretty awsome. There are tiny passages but they dont do a whole lot. Only for reinforcement. You attack from other direction (from the middle). You can drop the cliff at the nat, but it doesnt hit the mineral line and its so small that queen can walk into close range of siege tanks. Just played TvZ on it (we both are around 3k) and even thou I tried exploiding the chokes as hard as possible with with siege tanks he still won. Yes he could only break me once he had broodlords, but thats pretty much always the case vs a terran who builds tanks. The map feels awsome, only problem could be collusus. FFs are not better than on any blizzard map as long as you attack from the middle. Im not saying the map is perfect, but damn it seems really good. | ||
