@Jinro : was it that way already in SC1? I thought the headphones were noise-cancelling so that players couldn't hear anything. Would suck if it hindered them to have some music playing, I know I'd hate it - I only want the ingame sounds to have maximum focus.
[Edit] Oh and Ret : I had no idea you were this good, I was very impressed by your games. Jinro : I've seen a few replays from you before you left for Korea, and I have to say, I had the feeling you improved SO much as well. Hope you guys keep going that way

Moon or Jinro
nnnnghhhhh toough liquibet especially since it seems to be about even

I guess you could say that everyone is realizing how imbalanced the map pool is favored against Zerg. Idra even said it's terribly against them. I can't wait to see what Ret is going to pull out on these maps.

I think Jinro will take it. Moon's play wasn't very impressive today. And it's really great that you can practice with each other. GL guys.

Does that mean they gained access rights to the toilet in the team house now?
|
Congrats on Progressing to the round of 32 ! Jinro and Ret . Been watching Every moment of the GSL so far! Tastosis make is that much BETTER!
|
Maybe Gom purposely set tough Zerg maps to avoid 3 Zerg winners in a row.

What round ret and jinro need for S ranks ?

Ro8. I don't know if it's possible to get S with just a single Ro16 now.

Oh and yeah, about the maps - I have to say, I hate most of the current maps. Ok I am a zerg player, but I'm pretty bad so it has nothing to do with my own experience, I'm mostly interested in watching top level plays, and with such small maps that TEND to favor all-in rushes to a certain extent, it just makes it that less enjoyable.
I sincerely do believe one of the biggest reasons why BW is still that much better at the moment is because the maps are just absolutely lightyears ahead of SC2 maps (which is obviously normal due to the age of both games). Once maps get bigger and better in SC2, it's gonna be so awesome.

Sorry for a noob question, but i didn't quite understand the bit about the maps. Do the pro players want better quality maps and then keep a high quality map pool that rarely changes or do they just want the map pool to continually change because they get boring and predictable? Thx for answering.

Thx for answering. I'd say neither. A pool of high quality maps that changes every year or so is what Ret is suggesting, for example.

good job liquid guys ! GO FOR IT ! FIGHT AND WIN ! Nice write-up TL love getting some info and interesting question during the tournament.

Good luck guys!

Not a SC2 fan but as a TLer it's my duty to support all TLAF-Liquid players.
Ret and Jinro, you guys worked hard for this, congratz!

oh nvm thought I was quoting someone else woops.

Yay for the title change. Nothing like spoilers... Grats to Jinro and Ret though. Haypro will make it next time, hes getting better and better.
|
fantastic, well done to these 2 champs.
GSL just gets better and better although they're so right about the maps. They need a regular change of maps like BW has now.
